Does a Pure Black Light Bulb Make the Room Darker?

No it would not , as a pure black light bulb will not allow the light to come out, and it means it is same when it is on or off. So neither it makes the room lighter, nor darker

Does not exist. Any lenses that can glow need UV light to do so. They can not make them battery operated...so UV ( blacklight) is the only way.

More would be better depending on the effect you want. I would go with either two 18" fixtures (one near each end of the hallway) or add spot lighting to certain areas with compact fluorescent black lights to add accents or draw attention to something. There's a link below to some ideas.

For a dog you can try another product or redo that one. You just may not have gotten all the urine out of the carpet. It may even take a dozen treatments depending on how much uring is there. Also, those black lights will show up anything, even stuff that is not urine. So you might try other chemicals that are safe for rugs on it as well. For cats, they have oil based urine and I do not care what product is on the market, the only way to remove cat urine is to replace the rug. You can not get cat urine out because you can not get the oil that it leaves behind out

white! haha sorry! but try like a light blue would be cool or a light purple. wear some light jeans that are colored

10. can we make black light out of ordinary light?

You could put in a filter that passes only UV--not exactly black paper. But you will absorb most of the energy and your filter will get very hot. It's much easier to buy a black lightbulb. They are not that expensive. (And filtering regular light is pretty much what they do, and they do in fact get very hot). Alternatively, you could move toward the bulb (or have it move toward you) at highly relativistic speeds so the light is blue-shifted into the UV. ;)

A black light is a lightbulb that looks black but gives off a purpley glow. It's the kind of light that if you wear white clothes, the white clothes will glow. The hairspray usually does not work though.

Well i do not know what color the surface is, but I recommend tilex. It works wonders and kills bacteria. You can probably even dilute it cause it is a bit strong, and it will last longer. Works really great in showers and tubs too.
