Anyone Know of Any Indestructible Dog Toys?

I have a pitbull who loves the Kong toys. They come in different sorts, (shapes, sizes, types and "levels" of toughness). We've have it for a year, and she has not gotten through it yet. The kind that I have is one of the ones where you put treats inside, and they come out as the dog chews. Sometimes I put peanut butter inside, she loves it. I want to say the Kong toy is on average about $15, but it is so durable. Hope this helped!

Look for something that is solid rubber, nothing with a hallow center. Preferably something round that is small enough for him to fit in his mouth but something too large for him to bite holes in with his teeth. There are a ton of balls like this at local pet stores.

hello, keep taking her out for walks, thats good. Make her really hyper before you play and running around in the garden, my dashund loves it when you paw her paws she goes really crazy, or move the toy around and she will try and catch it!

Go to a big-box pet store (PetCo, PetSmart, whatever you have locally) a few days AFTER a major holiday. The holiday toys will be discounted and your dog wo not care that it's "expired."

no offence but, i have found that certain toys i find at flea markets hold up better then most other "indestructible" toys. i have the same problem. my dogs are 120 pounds and i can never find toys fo them until i found some at a flea market. my dogs like "tug of war" toys and i found one that lasts a while.(from a flea market). good luck. hope i help :)

Nah. Unless they are falling apart you should just wash them and give them back. I would not know too much about it, seeing the only toys that last over 2.5 seconds in my house are Kongs and the giant Nylabones.

In all honesty, you've answered your own question. They are bored. And if you are crating them during an entire working day, why are you surprised. There are NO amount of toys that will take the place of being allowed to lead a normal life for a dog, and that is not remotedly being crated for presumably upwards of 8 hours 5 days a week, or being devoid of the companionship of their humans. No of course you can not leave them outside, to bark their heads off at every noise, and maybe escape. The bottom line is you have to decide whether the life you are imposing on these two is fair. Okay, they have each other for company but if they are crated, they can not even play together. You have some serious decisions to make here. Add - Sorry, buying a Kong is not going to keep them occupied for the whole of a working day, every day of a week, locked up in a crate! Might help, but it's not the answer here. Add 2, assuming I am the 'jerk' you are referring to - I do not have a crystal ball .... had you put the full details in your om (ie you are only leaving them for 2 hours, and they are together) I would not necessarily have gone down the road I did!! Just to say do not, as suggested here, give them rawhide chews - these can get stuck down their throats and make them choke. And be careful re fighting over things like bones, if you are not around. Ditto for not leaving them alone with a bone in any case.
