You're leaving out that the US is freaking out about the "illegal" immigration problem when most of the White people here (including myself) have ancestors that came here illegally.

An alkaline cell produces 1.5 volts, regardless of size. Like AAA, AA, C, and D cells, they all produce 1.
5 volts. The larger size allows a cell to produce more current. So an alkaline battery that produces 9 volts has to have 6 cells of 1.

They are safe to use, but what would you use them in? There are a few penlights that operate from AAAA's, but that's about it. There are no battery holders made for that size, and soldering wires to dry cells can ruin them.
You could make a holder from wood and use springy brass or copper for the contacts, though.

i live in cali but visit spain & germany alot like evry year. germany is pretty cool but gets boring after a while its jut green, treees, green, trees.
southern spain is beautiful especiallly wen there isnt a big city u just walk around every were look at the beach eat ice cream yum went there and germany for summer vacation so awesome. spent 1 and a half month in each country and i loves it but got home sick
