How can your twin flame be so unaware of the connection?

I thought that my twin was completely oblivious to our connection up until very recently. He was always so much more spiritual than I ever was but didnt believe in soulmates or anything like that. I was the one who stumbled across the term about 6 or so months after meeting him but he blew it off.

The first 9 months or so we would both laugh and talk about how we were so in tune with each other and we would always say or text each other the same thing at the exact same time.I had the connection confirmed about 2 years after meeting him by a few very talented people and now recently had his higherself channeled to figure out what was going on. Seems his higherself And his physical self are like 2 completely different people.

His higher self knows alot more and does love me despite his physical self never opening up to me and admitting about his feelings but he does know our souls are connected.
