I do not consider toys gender specific. I bought a toy make-up kit for a friend's daughter and it turned out that her brother had just as much fun with it. While she used it to be a princess he used it to look like a clown. I think you can seriously limit a child's creativity by restricting them to toys meant for boys or girls
1. Trip to Kentucky for 3 days?
What part of Kentucky are you going to? I live in Kentucky so I can pretty much tell you alot about it. It's not like there was just a blizzard down here or something. You should not expect Extreme cold conditions but you should expect temperatures probably in the mid 40s during the day and temperatures below freezing late at night. You should not expect the cold night temperatures if you can make it down to Kentucky within the morning or afternoon. It's not pleasant like a Spring day obviously but it's a temperature that is mostly like I said in the mid 40s or 50s. I positively think that temperatures will not reach any higher. It's temperatures that you could stand out in mainly if you are used to cold temperatures. I would not think you should expect Hazardous road conditions or extreme road closings or construction. You may expect some road conditions but not heavy road construction. It pretty much depends alot on what part of Kentucky you are going to. Now you are asking what to bring your 2 year old? Well you could probably bring: Favorite toys Blankets and small pillows Portable DVD player. (If you do not have one, you could buy one at Walmart for a low price.) Snacks and drinks. (Things like crackers, oreos, nutter butter snacks, juice boxes, cans of coke, etc) Favorite movies books to read. Rubiks cube (That would fall under the category of toys.) There are alot of endless possibilities. I hope you have fun on your way to Kentucky and most importantly, Have fun in Kentucky!

Swingset with a climbing wall on it. Playhouse Toy kitchen so she can make mud pies... You can wash it off with a water hose and take it inside later if you want to. Sprinklers Kiddie pools Water guns
3. Recalled toys?
I just posted a blog on toy safety that has links to government sites about toy recalls
4. i adopted a puppy from the animal shelter...having troubles...
First, you and your new guy need to sign up for obedience classes! This will help him gain confidence which will help with the barking and the leash issues. The sooner you can get him in classes the better. Second, he will most likely become more playful as he gets settled. Get him some fun, stimulating toys and just leave them laying around. As he gets more confidant he will most likely start playing more and more. Just be patient. Finally, you house train him the same way you would a small puppy. Put him on a strict schedule and LOTS of praise.
5. does bunny feel pain when you trim the teeth?
Do not trim your rabbit's teeth. Always take her to the vet. Also, provide her plenty of hay and toys so that she can wear her teeth down naturally and not need a vet visit. She should have access to unlimited hay, and toys not only give her something to chew on, but also provide her with fun and entertainment. Of course, if your rabbits teeth are misaligned, trips to the vet for teeth trimming may be unavoidable. Always take her to the vet for teeth trimming and never ever medicate her without a prescription from the vet.
6. Homemade rat toys?
I made them a hammock, old clothing and show curtain hooks and toilet paper tube. Throw in some wood for them to chew on. I gave them a small bouncy ball. There's a lot of creative ideas
