My son is only one month old so he does not use any toys yet. I have some rattle toys, teethers and a bouncer for when he gets a little older. Toys like rattles help the children learn how to grab onto things and hold them. Teethers will obviously help them deal with growning in new teeth and a bouncer will hlp strangthen their legs. Good luck with your class
1. my little cousins steals my baby toys and i have told their mom?
I hope this is a joke. You sound like you are about 8 or 9 judging by your grammar. And then to think you have kids?!! This country is in trouble for the future
2. Should I ask my neighbor if she wants these extra baby toys?
Absolutely offer the toys to her.. give her the same reasons you just posted, and tell her that you thought of her and wanted her to have first pick. The worst that could happen is that she would decline the offer, and then you could still sell them at your yard sale
3. Where are some good places to shop at for baby toys and clothes?
any 2nd hand shop or yard sale, the homes of friends & family, and any retail shop that sells childrens' items
4. WTF is up with bilingual baby toys?
Sounds like you have already made your mind up, so why the question? This post is only going to cause controversy and should not have been posted. In the world that we live in today, it's almost a necessity to have a second language.... Good luck getting your kid thru college without a secondary language. I find your attitude very offensive, especially since my child is half hispanic and is bilingual
5. Why are there age levels on baby toys?
I appreciate your question as I have 4 grown kids and one grandbaby. What I've seen over the years is that companies want you to buy the latest, greatest for your baby's current age based on their development level found typically at that certain age. While this may work in general for them to pigeonhole their products, they also know that no two babies are fully alike. Bottom line for you, if the age recommended is ahead of your baby's age and it's something you think your baby will use, go ahead and buy it just because of the reasons you stated. If your baby does not fit the current "profile age" now, the day is surely coming! Enjoy your little one!
6. Baby toys that drive you batty?
my daughter LOVES elmo, i have a soft spot for him too. sesame st doesnt really bother me too much. but my daughter does have this lil tv and the picture moves on it, its a fifi and the flowertots tv and it sings the most annoying song. she loves it and i cant bring myself to hide it. my cousin kept taking the p**s out of me cos it bugs me, i sorted her out, i went and bought her 1 year old daughter one. lol
7. What or how would you clean used baby toys?
If they are really dirty you will probably be better off just throwing the ones that cant be cleaned in the garbage
8. Baby Toys: My 11 months old loves pressing buttons and taking apart anything she can?
My daughter's favorite things are television remotes and phones. All of the toys we bought her are a complete waste because all she wants is to press the buttons on those things. So we let her play with the remote (after wiping it down first) and gave her an old cell phone. We also sit her on our laps on the computer and let her 'type'. She loves it. No need to get another toy because it still wo not satisfy her
9. How strict are you parents with baby toys?
My daughter has always had an interest in toys that were not meant for her age. She's 17 months and right now shes really into jewelry. And not baby plastic jewelry, MY jewelry. I let her play with my bulky necklaces and metal clangy bracelets. She never tried to put them in her mouth though. She knew from the beginning that she's supposed to wear them. We let her play with barbies until she started to bite on her legs. ;)
