JERSEY CITY - A Bayonne man lured a 15-year-old Brooklyn girl looking for a summer job to his Jersey City office and raped her, federal authorities said in a criminal complaint Monday. The girl told authorities that the man, identified as Gregory John Schaffer, 33, had found an ad she had posted on Craigslist looking for summer work. He contacted her and told her that he owned four stores at Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City, including a lingerie store. She arrived at the Jersey City office on March 18 with a friend and was interviewed by Schaffer - who also goes by the name John Archambeault - behind closed doors and told to return the next day alone, authorities said. When she returned the next day prepared to begin working, Schaffer had her sign contracts he said were for employment, the criminal complaint said. But Schaffer told the girl it was a sex contract and she had to have sex with him or she and her grandmother, her legal guardian, would be sued. She unwillingly complied, authorities said, out of fear. She was also forced to pose in bathing suits for photos taken by Schaffer, the complaint said, and he also threatened to post the suggestive pictures on the Internet if she refused to have sex with him. When the shaken girl returned home she told her boyfriend and the police. When police raided the man's office, they found photos of young girls in bikinis, sex toys and handcuffs, as well as a file on the 15-year-old Brooklyn girl.In a profile page on an online casual dating website, Schaffer claims to be a former Navy SEAL who is 33 years old and lives in Bayonne.
