Kongs are great, but supervise as I've known some dogs to chew them up. The black or newer blue kongs are more durable than the red ones. Nylabone galileos are tough tough chew bones that stand up to a lot of abuse. I would avoid any of the Nylabone Flexibles, as my dogs (A great dane and a pit bull mix) can chew chunks off of them in minutes. The Treatstik is a great treat dispenser toy that will keep your pup occupied for a while, though it wo not stand up to excessive chewing. It's meant to be a toy not a chewable item, so use that with supervision. I second the suggestion for Planet Dog toys. Some are tougher than others. Their website rates them for toughness. Raw marrow bones are excellent for chewing and can keep a dog occupied for a while. As with any bone, supervision is necessary. If you google a line of toys called Tuffies, they make some pretty durable stuff. They also have a rating for the toughness of each toy. EDITED TO ADD: SInce you are allergic to peanut butter, you can stuff canned food into the kong and freeze it. It's messy, but once frozen, the dogs love it. You can also take his white hollow bones and fill them with canned food, cream cheese, sugar free applesauce, or mashed bananas with a dab of yogurt and honey and freeze them for healthy chew time. These are some of the things I've used for my great dane to get us through puppyhood. Also, as I stated earlier, if you want a TOUGH Nylabone, the galileos are the toughest they make. I bought one for my first dane over 14 years ago, and several danes later, I still have it and it's in fairly good shape after all those dane teeth!

2. Did you have any unique nicknames in high school/college?
I grew up with the nicknames "Toots" and "Honey-girl" and it stuck with me through highschool/college. My mom called me "Toots" because I was "addicted" to the candy Tootsie Rolls and "Honey-girl" because I was/still am in love with honey on toast. Nummy. Then there are "Glim" & "Glimmy" but that's just my name in short. Heh.
3. some jerk suggesting Honey for diaper rash treatment !!!???
I've used honey on a rash before, it helped quite a bit. Also, honey wo not absorb through the skin and cause any problems. The spores cause problems because they overload the stomach, it's kind of like a type of food poisoning, just with spores.
4. Honey? Is it safe for babies?
Actually its recommended not to give honey before a year old due to risk of botulism. I would not be giving a baby cough syrup anyway...at the very least you should be asking your child's pediatrician and not just going on the advice of a pharmacist only.

9. What is the problem with honey?
I've pointed that out several times: that honey farms lease their bees to fruit farms for pollination. The bees are trucked hundreds sometimes thousands of miles to do their "work". Many of them die to just as they would if they were "working" on honey. But apparently some hypocritically vegans do not oppose the fruits and crops that are as much a product of the "slave" honey bee industry which they do object to. th main reason is guess what: it against the "rules" according to a vegan website or other. These are mostly the "allowed/not allowed to eat" and "what I can/cannot" eat vegans who religiously follow the "rules" in fear of losing the right to claim they are vegans. And there are enough anal retentive vegans in this forum alone who tell them they cannot call themselves vegan f they do eat honey. So apparently, common sense and the ability to think for oneself is less important than maintaining the "cool" vegan tag. There is even one who calls herself an "anarchist" complete with anarchist quotes and slogans on her profile page but who insists others must follow the vegan rules.
