I have woken up many mornings to stuffing all over the house and a disemboweled body in the middle of it all. This is the canine prey drive in action I buy stuffed toys at garage sales, sometimes if the girls are with me, they get to pick their own. Make sure that you remove the eyes and any other small hard parts. After the stuffing is ripped out, let her play with the 'skin' she will have almost as much fun with that. The other day when I was at the pet store I saw a new line of toy made out of a heavy canvas and stitched multiple times. They were billed as being 'indestructible'. They did look very sturdy and seemed like they would withstand attack. The only catch, they were in the $25 -$50 range.

I always found that singing songs while cleaning up was a great diversion. Also, if they have a toy box that they keep soft toys in, see if they can throw the toy in from a few steps away. Also, they seem to like little "trains." Station one at the toy box, one in the middle, and pass toys to one another until they are all in the box.

in my opinion u wont need half the stuff u are asking for. an dmost of the stuff is just way too $$$$$. just keep it simple. i would ask for gift cards too. that way u can buy things u need when they pop up unexpectedly. i would put on there carseat, 1 stroller, about 10 - 15 outfits in each size range up until 12 months, tons of onesies, bottles, bottle cleaners, single dose formula holders, diapers loads of diapers, diaper bag, binkies, blankets, teethers, wipes, baby swing or bouncer, playpen, dont really need the bassinet they grow out of them so fast, diaper rash medicine, thermometor, baby tylenol, soft brush, lotion, baby bath tub, baby bath soap, baby shampoo, baby oil, washcloths, crib, bath towels with hood, receiving blankets, soft toys, baby mittens (so they do not scratch themselves),socks, small clippers, vaseline,baby spoons, and most importantly, a good camera with lots of memory or film

Honestly, there's worse things to worry about in life than PVC. PVC is everywhere. Your child wo not be able to avoid it as an adult. So do not worry about it. He will be okay

to be honest, you can find tons of imitation tigger soft toys in Hong Kong. Anywhere near china can net you imitations of nearly anything... at CHEAP prices. You will mostly find them at night markets. Ask around in your hotel where the night markets are.

Just explain to him that he can only put soft toys in to the crib. Next time you see him heading towards the crib with a wrong toy, stop him, give him a stuffed toy and say no, remember only a soft toy. After a few times he will get the idea.
