1. Will the Apple iPhone you buy today still work in 5 years?
Well my original, 3G, 4, and 5s ( still by the way used today) are all working and fine. Apple give the iPhone 5 years from release software support and updates. When the iOS updates end that does not mean it is the end for the iPhone. The apps go even farther with all at lease two years/versions back and most 4-5 years/versions back. I still see plenty of apps that work with iOS 7 and 8 support. My original iPad mini from 2012 still gets regular app updates and it's on ios 9.
2. do all apple iphone cases fit verizon phones?
No, not all iPhone cases fit Verizon iPhones. The buttons for volume as well as the mute toggle, are in a different locations. Verizon iPhone's side buttons are slightly lower.
3. which is better sidekick LX or the new apple iphone(3G)?
bfore i start, ill tell u that the 3g iphone cannot be unlocked. i have a 1st generation iphone (unlocked with tmobile) and a sidekick lx. it would almost be pointless to unlock a 3g iphone even if u could because tmobile does not have 3g technology and that's the big deal (the fast internet)..and u would hafta but it outright, which would cost you $599 cuz otherwise u hafta activate it in store with at&t. now ill go to this lol. iphones are very over rated. i thought i would love it, and honestly, i love my sidekick so much more. the sidekicks internet is reasonable. its kinda fast for a phone. and it is kinda breakable, but not that easy. i've dropped mine a lot, and i have a crack in the screen but it does not mess up my screen. it is great for texting and instant messenger & the plan is awesome. its $20/month for unlimited texting, internet, email, and instant messenger. the music player is good but u might hafta buy another memory card cuz the one it comes with does not have too much memory. its an awesome phone over all, the only thing that is not great on it is the camera. the clarity of the pictures is not that great. now onto the iphone. the internet will be fast on the 3g iphone, but u can not use that with tmobile and u can not unlock it. the internet is faster on the sidekick than the 1st generation iphone. its very hard to text on iphones. the phone is really high tech and its cool..but sidekicks are definitly better. i would suggest getting a case for the iphone if u got a 1st generation & unlocked it with tmobile. that's what i did, and i've dropped it once without the case on it and it got really scratched up. and yea, the music is good. but honestly, texting and typing is horrible on it. i hope that helped, & if u have any other questions about it, feel free 2 email me. if u got a 1st generation iphone, u would hafta get it off ebay or craigslist.org cuz they do not sell them in stores anymore.

5. Why do Apple iPhone applications never hang/crash unlike Android apps?
I have been using iPhone for a while now . What I understand from my usage is in simple terms,Most of the iOS apps or even the system apps do heavy pre caching of the data, (objects, icons etc..) and it's always available for serving.Ex: you open App x for the first time, OS now learns to understand and identify it roots in the system and stores its entire app files in a separate memory. From that point, no matter you kill the app or close, this memory does not erases the roots of the app. Since it's always available to system , it easily identifies the necessary files to be loaded much faster.Other operating systems try to refresh or take the most recent roots of the file. This delay is not present in iOS. But what is most astonishing is how the OS manages the memory of that storage system. It counts everything. How many times you launched. What is the system usage of that app and how long you have been using. It's all smartly done, you kind of open or use a pre defined set of apps always. So it makes sure to serve the top priority ones so the experience is much better.I hope you understand now.Why do Apple iPhone applications never hang/crash unlike Android apps?
