It depends on your work flow and how you use it. If you want to use it for stuff like YouTube, Email and Facebook it should be a very competent stand-alone machine. That being said if you are doing other things such as photo editing, video editing, etc and working with files a lot it would be handy (but not necessary) to have a Macbook, since you can AirDrop files back and forth (not fumbling around like you would do with an Android Tablet) and have backups of files as well as better organization.
1. Does the iPad Pro support WiFi 6?
No, in the future if you have a question like this just go to Apples website and look at the Tech Specs of the item.Does the iPad Pro support WiFi 6?
2. Would have Steve Jobs ever liked the direction of Apple with Microsoft Office applications being intergrated with the new iPad Pro?
If it meant success for the platform and for Apple, sure.Relevant history:Steve Jobs [at the MacWorld Expo : "We have to let go of the notion that in order to for Apple to win, Microsoft has to lose. Relationships that are destructive do not help anybody. The era of setting this up as a competition between Apple and Microsoft is over."Microsoft invested 150 million dollars in Apple stock ... At the same time, Gates obliged himself to continue the development of Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office for the Mac for the following five years
3. How does the Apple Pencil writing experience with the iPad Air compare to the iPad Pro?
Both are very good. The pro will be a little smoother in its operation but also more powerful to better run the more powerful apps for graphics, photo manipulation, editing, and other apps that you want smooth and precise actuation. How does the Apple Pencil writing experience with the iPad Air compare to the iPad Pro?

5. Is it better to upgrade 2018 iPad Pro to 2020 iPad Pro or iPhone 11 Pro to iPhone 12 Pro (when it is released in later this year)?
To be frank, Richie Rich, if you are upgrading your stuff that quickly, I do not know why you think you need to choose, since money is obviously no object to you. You might as well do both and really flaunt your wealth.Oh and get a new Tesla while you are at it. Your old one has like, over a hundred miles on it.But anyway, the iPad is slightly older. I suppose that's what I would choose
6. The last iPad I had was the iPad 2 back in Christmas 2011 and I want to get back to using iPads with the iPad Pro. Is it a good idea to get an iPad Pro or should I instead get the iPad 2017?
Without repeating the good reply already posted I would add that IOS11 which will be out soon will permit drag and drop and files and ch paste and all sorts of computer like actions along with split screening with several en apps ..hey, just like a laptop along with the ability to draw and so forth....I have it..it is so much faster than the earlier model, mtjere is simply no comparison. I think getting the pro is like a different animal entirely to the 2017 iPad which is fine for surfing and letter writing and watching movies and playing games but the pro is a creative tool as well...
7. Can we connect an external GPU with an iPad Pro 2020?
Not happening. And if you could would it be worth 500$ to do it?I have seen 1 eGPU with a built in card but when the graphics get out dated you need a whole new one. Better is to buy a case so you can upgrade. With a mid range card 700$ is in the ball park for a setup like that. And then you need a monitor. Can we connect an external GPU with an iPad Pro 2020?
