Many parents faced the dilemma of if their child does not get what he or she wants, then he or she hates you. You have to set up boundaries and limits. Start with not giving in. Only reward your child with a toy, it something not given but rewarded. Of course, he going to throw a temper tantrum, all kids are like that. Be firm and not give in. Buying a toy every time you go shopping, I would stopped that. He will only grow up not appreciating the value placed on the dollar and money that is earned. I would start with a firm "No." And if he wrecks his toys at home. Then take the toys out, until he earns them back with good behavior.
1. As an adult, are you ever jealous of kids today with all those awesome new toys?
Yes! Because we did not even have shoes or running water and had to walk up hill both ways 26 miles to school
2. Does your child get tired of new toys quickly?
Most will!! Then they will whine for more!!!!!
3. How to get baby green cheek to play with new toys?
You have to give the baby some time to get use to you, his cage and his new home. Leave him alone for a few days let him get him use to his surroundings. Most birds like shoulders
4. What are some new toys to get my 8 month old?
There is this ball with a monkey standing up on it that plays music when they push it -very popular - or anythign that rolls and he can crawl after. Also the toys where you push a button or lever and a door pops open stacking rings big plastic blocks to build stuff that he can knock over (little tykes makes some) or build with stacking cups or leftover containers or whatever. babies this age love crawling up and knocking things over tamborine or basic music intstrumetns that you shake stuffed animals, at this age they babble to them, very cute possibly a cart type thing designed to be walked behind and pushed, if you know what I mean. Good for babies thinking about toddling pots and pans and wooden spoons picture album designed for babies to be able to chew on (baby einstie makes one) durable books small blocks with a bowl to take them out of and put them in. babes this age love taking things out toys that you push buttons and they make a sound or light osmething up - at this age they can learn to push buttons and switches - there are several activity table type things available with tons going on on them, one of our friend has one and her baby still uses it at 12 months, so worth the investment.
5. What is the best way to stop a dog from barking in the house all the time?
What is the reason your dog is barking all the time? There could be something medically wrong with your dog. More than likely, your dog barks all the time because he/she is bored and lonely. German Sheps are very smart dogs, and without enough stimulation (mental) they can become bored and act out. The barking could lead into him destroying your furniture. I would suggest taking him on a couple of long walks a day. Many people assume that because they have a big backyard that is fenced in, they can just let their dogs out there and all is fine. But the backyard becomes familar to them and they are not forced to move a lot like they would be on a walk. Dog obiedience classes are also a good idea, since learning how to behave will really work your dog's brain. Also try getting some new toys or even another dog to keep him company (make sure you get them both fixed!!) if you are gone a lot during the day. I think though, with the long walks and new toys, plus a little training, you will have a great dog that is much quieter
6. new toys for my daughter, should I wait?
I think your friend is being somewhat ridiculous, to be honest. Just think back a generation or two, when as babies and young children we were all left much more to our own devices, and age specific developmental toys were simply not available; the human race still survived! Buy your daughter whatever you want to, you are not going to do her any harm by giving her something designed for a child one month older. There will be no magic spell cast over her at midnight on the night when she passes 6 months that means that suddenly she can play with a toy that says 6m on the box.
