Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for Rent Lighting Equipment near Me

1. What video equipment would you recommend for a mid-sized corporation looking to shoot 1920x1080 videos for corporate use?

Bob Hannent's answer is the best one so far.One thing you need to also do is get a person who knows directing, one that knows editing and one that knows filming. You can't really have one without the others.

You also need a person or team who can write scripts and who understands the themes you will wish to approach. The message might not get past the screen if the way it's communicated dull and/or not coherent

2. 10 years from now, will there by any family farms left in the U.S.?

Family farms will be around but those that do the best will be medium to smaller farms (under 100 acres) focusing on local niche markets such as organic herbs etc. One area that is rapidly expanding is in the blueberry sector here in the northwest as demand for the health benefits and excellent taste of these berries drives demand up for a year round supply (winter stocks presently coming from South America)

3. You now have $1,000,000,000 in your bank account, what do you do?

Figure out how it got into my house lolBut if I came home to that, I would invest in my own place and my education. My parents always lectured me about the values of education and I want to continue to seek it. No matter how much money I had, I would put money towards that and my family. I would also donate to my old high school because they accepted me when I was down

4. Are vintage cars harder to maintain and more costly? Is it worth getting, for example, a Chevy Impala 1958?

They are both harder and more expensive on a basic level, given that many of the parts are hard or impossible to find. On the other hand they are more basic and have far fewer (read no) electronic parts, which can be unreasonably expensive to replace (seldom reparable). The only reason one would buy a vintage or veteran vehicle is for the love of old machinery.

5. How do you stay fit on a work trip?

There are lots of ways to stay active with little time/resources, lots of hotels have free gyms in them, if you frequently travel to the same place getting a membership punch card is sometimes an option (so paying for 30 entries instead of a month), finding at home exercises that you can do on your own online or in books, simply just going for a nice walk/run will help you stay in shape. Hope this was helpful!

6. What is a movie director responsible for? Does he pick locations, scenes, actors, equipment and the budget on each scene? L?

The previous answers are spot on. Jeffrey Poehlmanns is more knowledgable than mine: it depends on the budget, timing, size of the cast and crew, along with so many other variables. It can range from a director for hire who is there to fill the role, and may not have the time or ability to make any of those decisions to someone who wants to control every single aspect of the film and has the contractual power to do so

------

7. What should my budget be to produce a short film?

It depends on the duration of the short film, the locations, cast, technical aspects etc. What people fail to understand is that time is also money. For young aspirants time is available in plenty so trial and error is possible. So if someone said they made a short film for Rs. 1000/ the notional costs should be understood. For elderly aspirants time is a costly comnodity. Hope this helps.

Dairy industry is basically Rape, Torture, Murder. This is put very aptly in front of you. It involves separation of a child from its mother, it involves, killing of a child, it involves rape of female and injecting them with many many medicines/hormones so they produce more milk. This impacts human health severly.To.know more about this - COWSPIRACY, WHAT THE HEALTH.

If you are looking to start a milk business, start with cashew, rice, almond, soy, coconut milk which is the future! Trust me. I am doing something similar hence guiding you

9. Is it a smart choice to go pro in a game and do YouTube (at the same time) at 19 years old and try to turn it into a living?

I would say it is a high risk: their is a tiny chance that it might go well and you become rich and famous, but it could also completely fail or other factors might ruine this plane. What if the game stops being relevant? What if you cant find sponsors? If I were your dad I would insist that you get some higher education that would enable you to seek out a more stable job if this path fails, however I wouldnt stop you from trying

10. How will autonomous vehicles change the automotive industry?

Well they can either make a constructive or a destructive change

Depends on how you look at it

Constructive changes : There would be less accidents . Anyone could drive them . Redundant drivers would be eliminated .

Destructive Changes :

1. Being a car enthusiast myself , I would not give up the fun and adventure of driving a car

2. There would be so many job losses .

3. As we know that autonomous cars rely heavily on GPS , so if the signal is to be blocked , it would cause a accident or unrouting .

11. Is Lockdown making you miss your daily commute? Is there such a thing as a good commute?

Its not the commute I miss, as much as the leisurely snacks, meals or store browsing I enjoyed on the way to and from work. A good commute is one where I dont have to be the one dealing with undue crowding, traffic and stupid drivers, which is my day-to-day reality as I dont drive and have a fairly long trip, two-thirds of it by subway

12. I will be purchasing an Canon SLR camera soon. It's main purpose will be for video production more than photography. Do I get a Canon 500D, 60D or 7D?

Totally agree with Daniel - the T2i is a great camera for the price and has a very similar (18.7megapixel) sensor as the 7D for a much lower price. There are also some neat firmware hacks (like Magic Lantern) for the T2i that allows for things like audio level monitoring on the LCD screen. It's important to note that you're limited to video clips of under 4GB or about 12 minutes at a time, so plan accordingly when shooting

13. What is the job profile of a senior section engineer (electrical) at a railway?

It depends upon what section of Electrical Engineering Department one is posted. It can be traction which looks after power supply for trains on electric traction, if one is in train lighting, he will have to look after coaches lights and AC, if one is in power he has to look after power supply and its related sub-stations etc for building power supply. Each profile is different

14. How do you finance a private jet acquisition?

On a new jet you can get 1020 year terms. On pre-owned, the firm we use does 10 year amortization schedule but 5 year term.20% down unless youre very well qualified - then its 10% down.

If youre doing it for a business with sufficient profit to offset, in 2018 and possibly beyond, the acquisition will be cash-flow neutral or positive if you finance it. See a rough worksheet, and the aircraft it accompanies, below:So if you have the credit and the corporate profit, in 2018 you can get paid to buy a $5 million plus jet. God bless America!

15. What advice would you give to someone who is moving to Chihuahua, Mexico?

Learn to eat hot foods. Here it is very common to eat everything with spice. Most of the traditional food here involves some sort of chilly. And if you are not used to it, you will most likely be repeating the same meals over and over. Also, make sure you know two types of Spanish: Mexican and Chihuahuense. Mexican is the Spanish that comes in the dictionary. Chihuahuense is the one that involves words that( will almost always have ch in them) are not in the dictionary but are present in the daily sentence of chihuahuense.

Good luck! ;).

16. What is it like to live in the US Virgin Islands having grown up in the mainland US?

It's really pretty simple. Be nice to the local people. Don't expect anything to be rushed. Say Good morning, good day, and good night. Try to learn a few local phrases. Drive on the left!!! Get tips on who ships to the island and who doesn't. Also on where to shop. Don't expect high speed internet. Filter your water if it comes from a cistern. Don't drink too much, too often (it's really really cheap!) Go to the beach often. Make friends (and not just Continentals.) Be prepared for BIG storms. It's really fabulous. But its just a little different. I loved it!

17. What's the lowest amount I need to make a horror, drama or thriller movie?

A friend of mine made the horror film Bad Ben. He spent $300.00 on production, another $1000 on advertising and, in less than six months, it's made about $30,000 on Amazon Prime alone. Now, in order to do this, he not only came up with an idea for a story but an idea for a story that he could shoot in his own house, with his own crappy cameras and star in as the only actor in the entire film.

------

18. What was the most embarrassing moment you experienced when you had a medical examination or medical procedure?

I am a guy and I wear plain cotton thongs all the time. I had to go to the doctor and he had to check my anus with his finger. I tried to pull my thong and pants down in one shot but the small part of the thong came from between my butt checks like flossing your teeth. I got past the moment quickly though.

------

19. When a movie credit says something like "Lenses provided by_______" does that mean that equipment was loaned without cost to the production?

Sometimes, but not usually. We often list the significant vendors whose gear we rented to make a film, from grip & lighting to cameras to Avid editing systems. Sometimes the vendor sends their logo and specifically asks for it to be included at the end of the credits, but just as often, we include it just as a courtesy, the same way we credit nearly everyone who worked on the film.

20. Do you believe that the Internet of Things will facilitate business opportunities for SMEs and local communities?

Tools like Raspberry Pi are making some things available to small business owners that were currently too "high-tech" and expensive before such as the ability to track in-store movement and interest in specific products. Like most technological advances, we have to learn this new technology and learn how to harness its capabilities before we can make it useful for the masses. There are some pretty interesting academic and practical use cases out there for IoT. If you are interested, you could hire Konsus.com to do an extensive search for you.Much success to you!

21. Have you ever considered creating your own tabletop roleplaying game? Why?

I made my own D&Dish game a few years ago, solely because I decided to make a game that does precisely what I wanted to, instead of sitting around and hoping that WotC would do it for me.I didnt worry about whether it would be popular, I just did it because I wanted to, and if other people enjoy it thats just a bonus

23. Could a laser beam work in a broad daylight? What about under outdoor lights? What are the safety factors?

Yes on both accounts.Light that is mutually incoherent, like a lamp or the sun and a laser source, do not interfere with each other.Remember that you can only see light rays that enter your eye. If the laser is not pointed at your eye (WHICH IT SHOULD NEVER BE), you cant see it unless there is something for it to scatter off of, like a white surface or a fog.

If you cant see the laser in daylight or in the present of lamps, its because your eye isnt able to distinguish them. Dimming the lights increases the contrast, thats all

There is a varied approach to this question, if you a contractor or dealer who is looking to take up a rather short term or medium term approach than construction equipment rental is the right choice for you.As for me, construction equipment rental has a very bright future in terms of heavy equipment industry is concerned as the demand for heavy equipment never would fade away. Another factor because of which construction equipment marketplace rental would keep on increasing is the number of new entrants in the market who are taking up contracting business and need equipment for short term or project basis.
