Kongs come in all sizes and are great, most pet sites will offer them in the dog section
1. What should i do about these dog toys!?
It sounds like you need to invest in a couple Goughnuts. They are kinda pricy but worth it. They are made out of really though rubber. If your dog ever chews it up ( which I doubt it will) they company will replace it for free :) good luck with your doggies!!!.
2. why do they make dog toys that squeak?
Squeaky Dog Toy Sound
3. What dog toys/bones are the best for dogs who are chewers?
Kongs (you can put some peanut butter in it and also stuff it with dry dog food or wet dog food or special treats that are made to go in a Kong but the dogs usually like to play with them with out treats. They seem indestructible. We buy rawhide chews that are pressed into the shape of a bone for our dogs; that keeps them busy and satisfies the need to chew.
4. I'm looking for really good indestructible dog toys any suggestions?
Petco has Tough Toys, they are stuffed and have a squeaker but they are made out of a tougher fabric
5. Fun Question: What does your feed room look like?
I have no idea how to put pics on here so yea..... our barn consits of 2 stalls and a tack/hay area. there is a gate at each end.one leads from the pasture straight to one stall then the is a gate to the other stall. a dividing wall seperates the second stall from the tack/hay part.of course there is a gate!! But any way I used to keep the horse feed in there in some barrels against one wall opposite the hay and beside the tack BUTTT......One time i forgot to shut the end gate (LOL silly me!!) But anyway. . the goats got in and ate the feed that I had fixed for that nights feed So now we keep it in the shed with all the other feed(goats, chickens, rabbit, pheasant, dogs) and we can lock the door. But the hay is still in the barn and there is little peices everywhere! The feed shed is the same... feed is covering the floor and I just cleaned it like 3 days ago!! There is a metal trash can in a corner that has corn in it (goat feed). then theres a space which is filled with 3 bags of sweet feed (horses/goats). Against the wall is a table where we keep dog toys in a box along with hoof supplments and buckets on the top and dog food and extension cords on the bottom shelf. There is a shelf on the wall where we keep shampoo(dog and horse) flea spray, fly swatters, extra fly traps and a VEST??? (like a boat 1) Idk how that got there!?!?along the other wall is a bag of dry dog food, 2 bags of chicken feed, a bag of wild bird feed, a bag of lay maker, bag of rabbit food, and 2 bags of oats (horses/goats). There is one light, which is actually a heat lamp for birds but its works just fine for a light!! But its a mess! I want to get bins so we can get rid of the sacks( less mess) and I think we have mice!!!! But any way it is a WRECK!!
6. Does anyone know of any sites that give out free dog toys, bones, treats, or food?
You can make toys for your dog, they do not know the difference.Tie a sock in knots and he will love it.Trust me my dogs have everything and they will play with what ever I give them as long as I play with them they do not care.Their favorite thing to do is take them for a walk and that's free.
7. why are dog toys so expensive?!?
I buy old throw pillows and stuffed animals from Good Will for my pup to chew and play with. Dogs toys are very expensive because they are made from very expensive material that is safe and dogs can not destroy
8. what are good, Durable dog toys?
Rope toys are bad if your dog destroys everything because he will begin eating the rope and that could cause a blockage. Raw hides are bad because A) they do not last long and B) they splinter and can tear the stomach lining. I recommend you either get the Kong toys to hide treats and stuff in. Or any Nylabone toys. Nylabone lasts for a really long time!.
