How Can I Be Motivated to Work Out?

Hm... with meals he is encouraged mostly, exceptionally with uncooked meat. However he is choosy with meals; he does not quite like puppy biscuits but when I have a few uncooked meat, and even cooked meat, he will get encouraged (ESPECIALLY with the uncooked meat). He's additionally toy encouraged, together with his rope toys, nonetheless, if I allow him off leash of direction he would opt for to chase birds/cats alternatively than play together with his rope toy. And compliment. .. hm. .. good, I've essentially taught him plenty of matters utilising simply compliment. His tail begins to wag every time I name him a "GOOD BOY" in a joyful voice, LOL. But from all of the ones, I believe meals and toys are his quality motivations however even then, nothng is one hundred% (equivalent to take into account with the ones).

1. A Dad's Guide to Buying the Best Toys for Your Kids, and for You!

I've always found that a great way to start looking for toys is by browsing online with your kids. This gives you a great feel for what they like and do not like. Start with general browsing topics like: girls or boys toys, dolls, musical instruments, toy cars and trucks. You can use these to gauge your child's reaction. With the media today offering so many choices, it can make it tough to really find a toy that's going to be used for a good period of time versus the "flavour of the week." Something that I never thought about before buying toys was the cleanup. Boy, do I wish I could go back in time and tell myself a thing or two about this. Just remember, the smaller the toy, the more likely it and about 50 others just like it will find their way onto the stairs, the floor, into the toilet or pretty much anywhere you do not want to find it. As much as we would love to pretend that our kids are great and clean up after themselves, let's face it, this just does not happen as much as we would like. If you purchase slightly larger toys, they are easier to track down when lost and keep organized when not being used. When it comes to looking for something that will last, there are certain key things to watch for. Just remember the more limbs or appendages, the more likely something is going to break off. Look at what they use to make the toy. Traditional wooden toys, even though simple by most modern standards, tend to last much longer just due to their durability. There are some great brands of wooden toys out there such as Melissa and Doug, Fagus or IKEA built items that may sometimes cost a little more but will last much longer than the standard plastic items when it comes to durability. The Noise, The Noise, The Noise I will never forget when my sister decided it was a great idea to buy the girls a drum set when they were about 3 years old. They still love that thing and use it all of the time but there are other items on the market that may cause you to lose your sanity even quicker than raising the kids. As much as I think it's great to foster the musical aspect of learning for children, there are a ton of items on the market that come with a button or two that allows your child to play roughly two to three songs repeatedly, that wo not stop. Ever. Before you know it you are humming the songs when picking up groceries and having them haunt your dreams to the point of waking up in a cold sweat. Just make sure you are prepared for whatever the toy's functions will do and do not put yourself through the often unbearable anguish with a bad purchase that you end up hiding out of reach in the closet. Do not Buy Things You Wanted When You Were a Kid I am touching on this because I've made this mistake on multiple occasions. Just because there are some things out there that look pretty cool to you, does not always mean your kids are going to like them. I've had some items sitting out in the garage for years now that I thought would be great and probably ended up playing with them a couple times more than the kids before they hit the donation pile. Just remember, make sure you check with them and see if they like it before you jump on something and buy it. The best thing going with sites such as Amazon are the customer reviews. This is candid feedback from other parents who have embarked on the same journey and found that some things work and some things do not . Use these to your advantage so you do not make the same mistakes they have in the past. Just remember, you are not the only one that has tried to figure out what works best. None of us know where to start and some will make the uneducated mistakes again without doing the proper research. These reviews have helped me avoid some major pitfalls when it came to certain purchases and I thank the people that take the time to write them. Happy hunting!

2. Connected toys: not just child's play

Dr Victoria Nash of the Oxford Internet Institute, gives advice on the security risks of smart toys that talk to the internet. In early 2015, Ken Munro, a security researcher from Pentest, demonstrated that something was amiss with Vivid Toy's talking doll Cayla. The angelic-looking internet-connected doll was designed to use speech recognition software to 'listen' to its child owner, before searching online via a Bluetooth app on a parent's phone for a supposedly safe and appropriate response. 'Cayla's software could be hacked, potentially turning her into a potty-mouthed liability by changing her database of appropriate response' Unfortunately, Cayla proved less than angelic in practice. Munro's security tests revealed that Cayla's software could be hacked, potentially turning her into a potty-mouthed liability by changing her database of appropriate responses. Even more worryingly, Munro's team demonstrated that the Bluetooth app used to connect to a parent's phone was itself also insecure, leading to the possibility that a nearby stranger with sinister intent could themselves connect to the doll. Whilst we have no evidence that any child came to harm playing with Cayla, this is not an isolated incident. Several other toy companies have garnered attention for their similar failure to provide safe online environments for children to play in, or to ensure that data collected is entirely secure. VTech, for example, suffered a massive loss of data in 2015, including pictures and videos of children generated from its toy camera range. But beyond the alarm caused for the families that bought this doll, Cayla raises a broader issue. Many children's toys are 'smart' now, with various integral features that either enable them to connect directly to the internet (such as CloudPets or Hello Barbie) or to be used alongside additional apps for an enhanced experience (VTech cameras or even Lego). And whilst most of us are aware that using the internet brings risks of being hacked, or having personal data lost or misused, would we really expect this of our kids' toys? Part of the problem is that it's not necessarily obvious from toy packaging that a 'smart' toy will only work if connected to the internet. Even if parents are aware of this requirement, it's very hard to tell which toy companies take internet security and child safety seriously. Well-established companies such as Lego, who have been in the digital space for several years, have a more mature and better thought-through approach than many others who are newer to the market. But even this offers no guarantee. What can parents do? Certainly, the simplest option would be to leave internet-connected toys on the shelf. But this does seem like rather an extreme response, particularly for parents faced with demands from their children. So what else can parents do? Right now, it's hard to protect against all risks. One obvious option would be to buy toys from recognised, trusted brands, which might be expected to respond to any observed security flaws, like the criticisms Mattel faced when it released Hello Barbie just before Christmas 2015. Another useful tip is to look for online reviews before buying the toy. Concerns about CloudPets were quick to surface, for example, and tech news websites are often ahead of the game. Finally, it pays to read carefully any information that accompanies a connected toy. There may be options to switch off particular features, or details of what data is collected and how it is used. In the longer term, we should hope that pressure from consumer rights groups and even governments might encourage toy companies to place easy-to-understand details of internet connectivity and data use on the packaging. Ultimately, perhaps the most important point is that we should not be lulled into a false sense of security by a toy's appearance. It may look like a teddy, but if it talks to the internet, then it's effectively a computer. Kids & the Connected Home: Privacy in the Age of Connected Dolls, Talking Dinosaurs, and Battling Robots (Family Online Safety Institute report) Is the smart toy you bought your child for Christmas too clever by half? This doll may be recording what children say The advice published on Parent Info is provided by independent experts in their field and not necessarily the views of Parent Zone or NCA-CEOP.

3. Breed of your dog you have?

I have a seven month old papillon.....He's a velcro dog....sicks to my husband and I and hates to be without either one of us..as long as either the husband or I are in the same room, he's happy. He follows us about when we do our chores and hops right up on the sofa when we sit to watch t.v.....however he has learned to be alone for short periods of time. We take him every where we can, he rides beautifully and is a perfect gentleman with people he does not know, and so far has shown no aggression towards other dogs. He has settled into his den for bedtime at night without any whimpering and respects the fact that our would en'(bed) is off limits until he's invited in-just before we rise in the morning he's permitted some snuggle time with us. he knows the things he can chew (toys) and the things he can not (everything else) and honors those boundaries. House training was a snap. And unlike the finicky toy dog stories, we've had no 'issues' with him eating his food. His coat is beautiful, like silk threads and yet so easy to maintain- a monthly bath, the fuzzies trimmed from between his toe pads, a 'pedi', then 2 days later he gets his Advantix-he never has that doggie smell. Weekly his coat needs a quick brushing daily, especially about his ears-and no matts or tangles. He's smart-easy to train, quick to learn what is expected of him....and such a clown-his antics during play time keeps us greatly entertained. Altho he's a toy, there is nothing yappy or nippy about him....yes, he's protective of us but realizes that WE are the alpha male & female and he's perfectly content to be our 'puppy-boy) and let US call the 'shots'.
