mix a strong concentration of dish soap and water in a spray bottle and spray it. Try along the seams first, they seem to be the first place they leak. Put a towel over the electric motor when you get to that end. Wherever you see bubbles, there's your leak!

When you say mattress, do you really mean doll? Go to Wal-Mart and get a vinyl patch kit, it will probably be located back in sporting goods

6. What do we need to take with us as a first time campers that we might not be aware of? (We have 2 kids) We got an inflatable mattress for our tent. Do we still need sleeping bags? What brands do you suggest? Same for blankets. (Weather 39-44) Thanks
For sleeping bags, go to Academy where you can find Coleman 40 sleeping bags for about $49 each. Two of these will zip together to form a queen size bed that would work great for you, your wife, and the infant. In fact, you could probably fit the whole family in this thing, if your kids are small. They also have nice blankets you can get to ha e extra and handy.I would recommend checking a Coleman cookstove, a couple of the Coleman propane bottles, and I would get one of the big steel blue coffee pots. These are great for keeping water hot to use with washing dishes, or for a quick cup of instant coffee, or hot chocolate. I will also grab you a couple of lanterns. If you need to camping, you probably don't want to start off with the propane or kerosene lanterns, so get battery powered. They're easy and safe around the kids. One key thing to remember when it comes to keeping warm at night, the body heat of all of you together and those sleeping bags are priceless, and will keep you all warm as toast. If I think temperatures are going to dry, a lot of times I will take a Mr. Heater Buddy (the 2 bottle unit) camping heater with me as well. The two bottle units are a little pricey but they are awesome when it comes to providing heat, and can warm up an entire tent in about 10 to 15 minutes. The thing I like about this one is that, if it knocks over, it quickly shuts itself off immediately.depending on where you're going the best thing you can get is one of these folding water bladders that holds about 5 gallons. These are great because I like to put them on the picnic table, and then just use the spigot like a regular water faucet. Another thing you might want to get to go with this is to like take a large pan to wash dishes in, or attic and we can find these collapsible folding sinks.I hope you guys have an awesome time camping! Make sure to send me pics... usWhat do we need to take with us as a first time campers that we might not be aware of? (We have 2 kids) We got an inflatable mattress for our tent. 7. What's the best way to find a leak in an inflatable mattress?
Forget the tub or the pool, more work than it's worth, simply take the time, like I did, to find the leak by feeling around the mattress. You can use a small pan with foamy soap water to place over the leak to see how big of a patch you need. Very Simple, I have tow mattresses I had to patch this way.
