When I started writing I was dumb, naive and stupid. I wanted to look cool to other people. I wanted them to think I am smarter.
So I started demeaning people and wrote condescendingly. I thought I was better than other people. Or at least tried to pretend that.
For a while I wrote opinions. I demeaned people who were asking obvious questions and I wrote about my thoughts on world economy. And nobody gave a shit.
Then I did everything a person can possibly do to destroy his life. Then I got depressed and sad and lost faith in life. I started crying my heart out in writing.
I started writing about my insecurities, problems and fears. I wrote all of it. Everything.
I didnt hold back anything. And that added real value to people. They could relate to the experiences I wrote.
Document over creating new content.I dont know why people dont realize how valuable their day to day experience is to other people. Imagine someone writing their IIM interview rejection story or their experience with depression.
Or heck about their struggle with daily laziness. I am definitely listening to all of this. Document whatever small emotion you felt today.
You missed your bus? Or liked the food you ate? Or had a quarrel with a sibling?
Write about it.People worry about looking stupid and the fear of judgement. I know countless people in my college who are gazillion times more insightful than me but they never create anything.
Mostly out of fear of judgement and overthinking their material. They write a stellar quora bio. Or search for expensive cameras on google with a amazing youtube channel name.
And then quit the next day. People sometimes message me complementing how beautifully I write. Its amusing to me.
All I do is construct simple sentences , taking care of reader fatigue and mix it with my day to day experiences. If you look carefully, my sentence construction and vocabulary is comparable to a 6th standard school kid. Yet I dont know why people over complicate things when it comes to generating online content.
Trust me when I say this. Forget about quality or the cliches that you might have heard. Just start documenting whatever is happening to you on a daily basis.
Nobody cares about presentation after a point as long as you provide continuous value to people. Your genuine honest experiences will ensure that

How do you know if he/she is your twin flame?
This is my favorite question, I dont even have to imagine, nor to consult my mind, I just have to describe what happened to me , and how I knew that this particular lady.
Once you meet your soulmate/twin flames, the exact moment, something within you lightens, its the soul detecting the presence of its long missing half or part, you get mildly confused due to a strange feeling, all of your thinking parts, starting with your brain have never felt this way before, there is love in the air as they say . then as you progress, things will keep getting more mysterious and strange, but evolving almost exponentially , specially if you are with the soul mate, the first hug will shock you, you become glued almost literally, you will have to exert an effort to part from your soul mate, to me, I saw the connection literally, in my own minds eye, I saw a white solid object hooking me to her, it was stretchable, I kept trying to pull away, and it was expanding, with a tough electricity, finally is got ripped, I was sweating almost profusely, Im an old man, Im not a virgin, but I was sweating and each part of that thing, well, its not really a thing, its the soul separated and withdrawn slowly to their homes . a kiss will make you see things, beautiful things, in my case, it was and is just crazy, as I parted from her, I saw tiny beautiful birds in all colors, shiny and happy flying fast while almost dancing, back and forth between my chest and hers .
I later, after I calmed down, I asked her, did you see anything, she was bamboozled to even talk, then she said yes, I saw colored birds flying back and forth between us exhibiting happiness that cannot be mistaken or misunderstood. This is only a fraction of what I can say, but with these things that I described, would you doubt that this is your twin flames? Right now, Im waiting for her and her mother, my music is KG, and I feel in heaven, real heaven, nothing exist in my mind but her, how can I be confused?
. I wish you this my friend, its a cosmic event of priceless endless rewards, should you find your twin flames, always respect the divinity and the holiness of this event, and thank the originator sincerely from the depth of your being

What is PIP in Accenture and how to survive during PIP?
I've come across 3 instances of people being put in PIP:1.
The person is a close friend of mine. He was into support project for 1.5 yrs, never worked on development he wanted to shift to Pune so that he can be closer to his girlfriend.
He changed his project and that was a Dev project, his TL had promised help during interview but for some reason the help didn't come, all he did was take credit and show weaknesses. So, my friend was put into PIP because obviously he couldn't perform as expected out of a 2yrs experienced developer. He worked hard and cleared the PIP.
He was rolled out of the project, he has been working in his next project (in Accenture) for more than 2 years as of now and he's scheduled to travel to USA in Jan'2016 (GCP)2. A junior of mine, she was hopeless. She didn't know basics of what had been thought to her in training, she didn't ask questions if she had a doubt, she would work as per her wish, she couldn't do the easiest of the work, we tried (4 different people including the TL who specifically learnt the work to explain it to her) to explain the work to her and failed, all of us!
I was told to prepare a PIP plan for her, even though I felt that she deserves it I felt bad, I did it anyways. We (along with my TL) set simple targets, such that a person at her level should be able to do it. My TL was very kind and lenient and he ensured that she cleared it.
(The TL was the reviewer)3. Another Junior,(1yr exp) he was smart but he never liked working, he missed few deadlines and there were quite a few escalation against him. The TL then prepared a PIP plan for him and the targets were impossible to achieve even for a SSE.
Obviously he couldn't clear it even though he worked very hard. He was kicked out. (He had shared his PIP plan with me almost at the end of his time there) I think what you should do is:1.
Evaluate your PIP plan, do you think it's possible? 2. Consult the plan with a trusted senior.
Trusted coz sharing PIP plan is against the company policy.Only if the answer to #1 and the senior's opinion both suggest that it has been setup to be impossible, I would suggest you do the following:a. Speak with your HR and tell him/her that this is a impossible task, ask if it can be reviewed.
b. Start searching for a job.c.
Keep working as per the PIP plan if the HR doesn't do anything about it until you find a job. Otherwise I would suggest that you work hard on the targets and ensure that you match the expectations, to be doubly sure record your results. Not always PIP is raised to kick people out, most of the times it's a second chance.

Does Star Trek owe its later success, after TOS had been cancelled, to Star Wars as the popularity of Star Wars laid the path for the Science Fiction movies and beyond?
Star Trek: The Motion Picture finally got made after the success of Close Encounters of the Third Kind NOT Star Wars!Alien also came out 6 months prior to Star Trek TMP.
The Black Hole came out a couple of weeks after TMP.Films like Close Encounters, Alien, The Black Hole and Star Trek TMP owe far more to 2001: A Space Odyssey than to Star Wars. It wasnt until after Empire Strikes Back that Paramount went with a more Action Oriented project in Star Trek 2: The Wrath of KhanThe Wrath of Khan made less money at the Box Office than TMP but was made on 1/3rd of the budget - TMP was a big budget disaster that was expected to make 300 million dollars worldwide a la Close Encounters but only made 139 mil.
Now 139 mil on a 35 mil budget doesnt sound all that bad and certainly doesnt equal a box office flop like say Disneys catastrophe that was The Black Hole 35 mil worldwide on a 20 mil budget. But Alien made 101 mil on an 11 mil budget and of course later on The Wrath of Khan would make 95 mil worldwide on a 12 mil budget. Whilst Empire Strikes Back of course made almost 550 mil worldwide on a budget of just 18 mil just over half the 35 mil it cost to make TMP.
The Star Trek movies have NEVER been BIG BOX OFFICEEven today the most any Star Trek movie has made at the Box Office is Into Darkness 467 mil worldwide on a budget of 190 mil whilst the most any of the original 10 movies before the reboot made was First Contacts 150 mil on a budget of 46 mil.No Star Trek movie is going to make a Billion Dollars right now - Its just not going to happen!Star Trek doesnt have the mass appeal of Star Wars, The MCU or Fast and Furious.
This was known even back in 1979 when it was Close Encounters that Star Trek TMP sought to emulate NOT Star Wars! That Star Trek TMP failed so conspicuously to make even HALF what Close Encounters made almost killed the franchise there and then - It was only the relative success of Wrath of Khan on a vastly reduced budget 1/3rd of what TMP was given that saved Star Trek.p.
s. Close Encounters budget was 20 mil whilst Star Wars budget was 11 mil for the first movie. The 35 mil budget of TMP was CRAZY for its time and the highest budget of any movie made in 1979!
