How Do You Say "Bastard" in Swedish?

Bastard, with Swedish pronunciation, is actually a word in Swedish as well though not used very often. Okting is a synonymous word with a little less negative connotation. A bastard could be something really freaky, like a sickly hybrid, perhaps between a human and a devil or something.

We dont use any of those words to offend anyone, and mostly they are historical words with little application in our language today. If the point is to offend why not as already suggested say skitstvel - shit boot.A mix between different animal breeds, like two different dog breeds, is called blandras - mixed race.

Thats a neutral word and not used for any other purpose than describing mixed breeds among animals

I want to start in NLP. Is it worth it?

Why do many people around the world say many Koreans are rude and lack basic manners?

I'm Korean.

Korean manners and mannerism are different. To many westerners your ways cane come off as rude, especially to ever so friendly Americans.

It does help when a large percentage of Koreans who can afford to travel to places like the US are the same sort who look down on foreigners and non Koreans as lesser beings and anyone who isnt as wealthy as them as not worthy of trying to be polite to. These are the sorts of Koreans most westerners run into in the world.More than once I have been hired as an English speaking guide for Korean college kids being sent to the Philippines to better learn English, and had to deal with this sort of behavior.

How I deal with that is to drive their sorry asses back to the airport.

How do I impress a Lithuanian man?

It is very, very hard to impress, surprise or amaze Lithuanian man (a male).

Lithuanians are not very curious or wondering people, they arrogant and indifferent in many ways.If you are a girl and wish to impress Lithuanian man just for fun, try to learn by heart the longest Lithuanian word (that even Lithuanians cannot):Nebeprisikiu0161kiakopu016bsteliaudavome. Okay, if this looks terrifying remember that its made of few words actually.

So learn it in parts:Nebe - prisi - kishkia - kopuste - liauda - vome. What does it mean? Not much meaning.

Obviously it is not the official word of Lith. language and translates as. nonesense.

But it is officially the longest word and if you are NOT lithuanian but will be able to say it to Lith man, he will be stunned. For maybe like 2 seconds

What is the full form of u201cOKu201d?

OK or sometimes called, Okay is a colloquial English word denoting approval, acceptance, assent, or acknowledgment.

This is most likely short for Oll Korrect, a jokey misspelling of All Correct that needs a little historical context to make sense. The origin of OK is historical, it is claimed by researchers that written records of the term OK is found as back as early 1800s. It had been understood that the expression gained popularity soon after when it was used as the name of a political organization, called the O.

K. Club. That is, the letters may have originated from the letters stood for the birthplace of President Martin Van BurenOld Kinderhook, NewYork.

Sone researcher claims that it originated during a war when the soldiers from the war front called for back from the reserve, they would just send a message on the telegraph - 4. K. meaning 4 soldiers were killed and 0.

K. meaning no-one was killed that day.

How do you say "Where are you from?

" in Swedish?

Generally, u201cVar kommer du ifru00e5n?u201d (Where do you come from?

) can be used no matter what level: town, county/prov ince, or u201cwhat country were you or your parents born in, whatu2019s your ancestry?u201d if posed to someone who is clearly not ethnically Swedish. The question can sometimes be felt to be blunt and unpleasant though, especially if itu2019s put to someone you donu2019t know that well (or have only just met) and is aiming for u201cwhat country do you come from?

We can see your family doesnu2019t come from here!u201d.A softer variety, if it is the town/place where the person grew up one is looking for, would be: u201cVilken stad u00e4r du ifru00e5n du00e5?

u201d (What town are you from, then?).

In Swedish, how do you say "you're welcome"?

The common, aside from the more casual terms that Petter mentioned, is "var s god," and it is kinda pronounced 'va(r)h-shah-goo(d)" with the r and the d being almost silent. It's tricky, though, because it's used as both thank you and also when you give something to someone. Example.

My mother-in-law hands me a dish at dinner. here would be the interaction between us:MIL: var s god. Me: Tack!

or Tack s mycket! MIL: Var s god!MIL: here you go!

Me: Thanks! or Thanks so much! MIL: you're welcome!

Inget problem, det var s lite, ingen orsak and the really casual nemas problemas are also used, with det var s lite probably being the next most common. No problem, it was so little (it was nothing), no reason, and the last just slang meaning no problem :)

Is it offensive for me to identify as Korean when I'm only 1/8th Korean and look completely white? I'm fluent in Korean and studying in Seoul.

I dont think any Korean person would find that offensive at all.

If anything, Koreans love that and will treat you better for that. Yeah, some might refuse to recognize you as their own because you will look white especially the older generation. Koreans obsess over pure bloodline and lineage traditionally.

But for the younger generation, it comes down to how well you speak Korean and how well you know Korean culture. I am 100% Korean and Korean is my mother tongue. I know the basic culture quite well.

However, due to the fact that I left Korea when I was a kid, there are some nuances and quirks that I never learnt/acquired, therefore some people in Korea treat me as if Im a foreigner

How do you write a CV in French?

Well there are a few differences with CVs in anglo-saxon countries, so lets go further:A CV in France must not be longer than one page! Except if you are 60 years old with a very long experience, you should not make an exception in this.

A CV must contain, at the top, your pratical informations: name (of course!), telephone, e-mail, address, driving licence, age or birth date. It is also recommended to put a photo.

It used to be mandatory, but now you can avoid it. I still recommend to put one. A CV must be as clear as possible, so I recommend 3 sections: professional experience, education and personal interests.

The first one should be your professional experience, unless you have just graduated. In the education section, you should add the languages you speak and the tool (e. g.

software) you master.

What's difference between IOT, AI and ML?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a subfield of computer science that was created in the 1960s, and it was/is concerned with solving tasks that are easy for humans but hard for computers.

Machine learning (ML) is concerned with one aspect of this: given some AI problem that can be described in discrete terms, and given a lot of information about the world, figure out what is the correct action, without having the programmer program it in.The Internet of Things (IoT) Won't Work Without Artificial Intelligence. It has the potential to fall into the general pit of buzzword-vagueness.

It is Network of physical objects that contain embedded technology to communicate and sense or interact with their internal states or the external environmentReal-world use cases of artificial intelligence combining with the internet of things

What does the Arabic word u2018laku2019 literally mean? My friend said it means "for you", but as I see it has different meanings, in u2018shukran laku2019 it just means "you". What other meanings does it have?

Lak is not a single word, it as actually two words - a preposition and a secondary pronoun; so it is roughy for you or to you. You is ahntah which is actually a combination of you and a being verb, like are, but can be simply used as you.Mind you that unlike English, these words are genderized.

Meaning that lahk and ahntah only apply when speak to males. Lahki and ahnti are for females.Shukran Lak is actually a strange literal translation meaning something closer to an act of thankfulness toward you.

Its something in Arabic which can obviously be translated to English, but a literal translation and a good interpretation are very different things. The interpretation is thank you, but the literal translation is the bazaar thing

How do you greet someone in your country?

In Italian, can one say u201cMi amicou201d or is it u201cMio amicou201d?

Saying u201cmi amicou201d is wrong, it reminds me of the spanish translation, which is u201cmi amigou201d. The correct way of saying u201cmy friendu201d in Italian is u201camico miou201d or u201cmio amicou201d.

Generally speaking, the most common one of the two is the latter: if you were to say u201cmy friend Bobu201d, it would translate to u201cil mio amico Bobu201d. Instead, you use u201camico miou201d when calling someone, like: u201chey Bob, my friend, come hereu201d would be u201cehi Bob, amico mio, vieni quiu201d.Now, this is not a complete explanation of how you use both these terms, however, in general, especially if youu2019re a beginner, I would say that you can stick to u201cmio amicou201d and you wonu2019t make mistakes (in most cases).

Can one say, u201cMi amicou201d in Italian, or is it, u201cMio amicou201d?.
