How Do You Say "nice to Meet You" in Norwegian?

The most simple and polite way I think is u201chyggelig u00e5 hilse pu00e5 degu201d. If you translate it literally to English, it will be u201cNice to greet on youu201d. But Norwegians use it like we use u201cNice to meet youu201d in English conversations.

To pronounce u201chyggelig u00e5 hilse pu00e5 degu201c, English Words for pronounciation would be close to u201chiggli o hil-sah poh thyu201d (not perfect at all). I think it is quite impossible to write how it is pronounced, unless I can attach an audio. You got to google and hear the phrase.

Anyways, good luck meeting Norwegians

How do I write a proof of concept for a blockchain?

I'm currently doing this for a blockchain application. I have a background in software development, as does my partner, so we are taking the approach of building out all the functionality, features and designs of the platform on paper with what technical blockchain knowledge we have.

From here, we're getting. People from our collective network to start building out the app. We are learning the blockchain tech ourselves, but to compensate for our lack of expertise, we're reaching out to experts we know in the field who are generous enough to give us their time.

From there, we are just going to start building and expect a few bumps along the way. Simple as that

Am I wrong or rude to not greet everyone as I pass by them in the hallway at work? I respond appropriately when I am greeted.

It depends. I don't live in US but in Europe. It is general etiquette to just say good morning or just nod hey".

Otherwise you will be considered as unsociable, arrogant even rude. You don't have to start a conversation just at the hallway. Now, when I am at the coffee machine waiting then I always say hi or start some small talk, like nice coffe or if they prepare a special beverage I ask what is that.

Otherwise the silence brings awkwardness. You don't have to greet everyone but if you. see some people quite often then yes you should greet them and start learning them.

You must network if you don't want to stay an intern for ever. You must make yourself known to the colleagues and potential employers.

In The Godfather series, would Don Vito Corleone have thought that Michael was a bad don, like Santino was after everything Michael did to destroy the Corleone Family?

Michael lost more in terms of dear ones than of power. Sadly, that is something his father feared way more than bullets, and the main reason he did not want Mike to follow the Family business.Edit: I read once something I liked very much: that The Godfather was the story of a king who had three sons.

The first inherited his good nature and ability to make people happy. The second got his courage and passion as well as his fury. The third received his cold blood and keen intelligence.

Michael was a great Don, but it was his heart what paid the toll, and he ended as the empty shell of a man

Is BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) a cult?

No. Its just a bible study group.

You go meet for an hour with a small group, discuss homework, go to a church sermon like large group then go home. Do your homework. Repeat the next week.

There are some rules, the extent of which are determined by each local chapter. I did it for seven years. The reading was interesting but i was terrible about getting the homework done.

And most of the small group time went to listening to peoples prolonged explainations of prayer requests so we often had to hurry through the lesson. Theres nothing cult like about it. More like Sunday school and church service again but on a weekday

What was Michael Corleoneu2019s biggest mistake in The Godfather series?

He had a choice in 1946 not to choose the role and life he took on. All that happened was a result of that. He was to blame for all of his troubles.

He could have walked away. I am sure Vito was well invested in legitimate enterprises that would have provide for the entire family. He could have gone on to greater things, especially with the help of Tom Hagen.

.In the end he had his wealth, his power, the fear of everyone else, he was untouchable by his enemies and the law. But he died a frail lonely old man.

I am certain most likely totally disowned by his former wife and son

What does it mean when a woman squeezes your hand in a two-hand handshake?

Affection. She would do that to her brother or father or other women too.

Or excitement u2014 if she is psyched about whatever you talked about.Sheu2019s definitely opening up to you about her feelings, but it doesnu2019t mean that she wants to date you. Itu2019s growing friendship.

Which is good. Not ever bad. If youu2019re romantically interested in her, and youu2019re both available, then tell you u201cI am very interested in you and would like to take you out on a REAL DATE.

u201d Nice clean, clear communication of your interest. She may be thrilled. She may be repelled.

But either way, you save time and mental energy.

Why do British accents sound intelligent to Americans?

I'm no expert in this field, but I believe there is a somewhat clear answer to this.

The "British" accent that most Americans think of is received pronunciation, aka "the King (Queen)'s English". That accent is regarded as the prestige dialect in Britain, associated with high social class. So, it is correct for Americans to regard that accent as intelligent.

There are other accents in England, and they do not, in general, sound any more intelligent to Americans than American English does. (An example is Dumbledore vs. Hagrid in the Harry Potter movies.

)Also, American English does not have a prestige dialect. I suppose you can say the northern dialect is better than southern, but then most of the country already speaks that

What is the meaning of printf("%") in C program?

% is an escape character in printf.

This means after writing a % the program will wait for certain commands, these are things like decimal (%d), floating point formatting (%f). So % wonu2019t do anything, because thereu2019s no command.Note as soon as you specify a command e.

g: %d, you must also pass a valid variable to the function. Pushing a parameter to the stack which isnu2019t something the printf wants will lead to unspecified behavior, this might be as simple as getting garbage data printed to the output with things like:printf("%d", 0.23f);Or it could lead to memory corruption if your compiler doesnu2019t use a stack guard

Why do we say hi?

-Itu2019s polite to others, even if you donu2019t like someone, if you say hi to others then theyu2019ll feel a little less wary around you (if youu2019re practically a stranger to them)-It can make you more likeable, when you say hi to others, youu2019re breaking walls of tension between the two of you. It can also make the person subconsciously drawn to you or labelling you as a sociable person.-You say hi usually to start a conversation, weu2019re social animals and so on websites or not, weu2019ll start with something like: Hey, whatu2019s up, hiiii :)-We are conditioned by are parents/carers and teachers that if we want to say something to someone, the appropriate conversation starter is u2018hiu2019.

What does char * * argv mean in C?

argc stands for argument count and argv stands for argument values. These are variables passed to the main function when it starts executing.

When we run a program we can give arguments to that program like $ . /a. out helloExampleHere hello is an argument to the executable.

This can be accessed in your program. For example,#includeusing namespace std;int main(int argc, char** argv) cout

out hello peopleOutputThis will give the output This program has 3 argumentsC:UsersuserDesktophello. exehellopeopleNote that the first argument is always the location of the executable executing

Is Python easier or more useful than Java?

Java scales to the enterprise in a way that Python can't.

Java is statically typed. Java is better at threading. Sometimes you need these things.

Python is easier to get up and running quickly, especially for prototyping. Python is dynamically typed. Sometimes this is an advantage.

Each language has it's own strengths.Update The question has been raised about Python vs Java in the enterprise. I think that is not in the scope for this question, but feel free to add your own question about Python in the enterprise, or add onto one of the existing questions, for example, What are the pros and cons of using Python vs.

Java? What are the key differences between Python and Java? Which technology would be faster?

What are the differences between Python and Java?

Would it be possible to have a common syntax targeting different language compilers/runtimes under the hood, since most current programming languages look very similar in syntax?

Yes, that's the simple answer, however that is supposing everyone designed the same way, agreed on the importance of various features and had similar hardware functional requirements.

If you research COBOL COmmon Business Oriented Language, and then check out BASIC, you might see the difficulties they had in the 60s when things were a lot simpler, before the internet, before the media revolution, and of games were text based. It's a complicated world now, and whilst requirements are vastly different, no simple syntax is going to work for everyone, additional syntax would be added for different programming areas, which would in turn end up with a common language where at the most, less than 10% of the commands would be used by any one programmer.

Why does a narcissist ex want to destroy you?

I have read so many things that say they have to out of control, envy and jealousy.I have read things that when you live better and happier without them it proves they were the issue and injures them.I have read they do not mean to do any of this as they are so pathological that this is just how they operate which causes us to believe they want to destroy us.

The reality is they have NO power over us. Nobody has ANY power over our feelings, emotions or actions. Once you accept this and take your power back is truly when NOTHING can shake you!

When that happens you will never ask this question or any questions like this since it wont matter at all.

In The Godfather, would Michael Corleone have said yes to Sollozo and the drug trade if he was Don?

Though Michael was different to Vito, he was very much the same regarding dealing with outsiders.

He would have said no to Sollozo also I believe, for the same reasons he wanted to keep Joey Zasa at a distance and have no business dealings with him in Godfather 3. Vito was weary of Sollozo as he was wanting to go down a road which Vito feared would create political backlash towards the Mafia for drug dealing. Michael was weary of Zasa because he knew that he too was going down a road which would end badly.

At the end of the day, both Vito and Michael wanted (and planned it) to eventually hold power in the world legitimately (but ofcourse with a few shady businesses here and there)
