It will burn out. LEDs are current devices. LED bulbs that you buy at the store have a power supply in them that supplies a fixed regulated current to the LEDs which are running in series. As the LEDs heat up the voltage across them decreases slightly as the current regulator maintains a constant current. Also, the LEDs are mounted on heat sinks to shed the waste heat.

We can claim an evolutionary reason for every organ but why don't random complex mutations persist across a specie?Anything that an organism has, any trait about it, always has an effect, either good or bad. What was the biggest mistake you made this week? What did you learn about yourself from that mistake?I washed my car during hot weather and suddenly my car battery is dead and unable to start. I may shock my car by washing it but luckily, It was at the home driveway that I didnt have to stand under the hot sun. I called a specialist and it has been fixed but an unexpected expense that I would more careful with my car and periodic check up to be done.

What would happen if I plugged 220 volt lights into a 110 volt socket?They'd be dim if they were incandescent. I'm not sure if that would constitute an increase in current or a decrease. I always assumed incandescents were purely resistive elements so you would run with half the current and probably nothing would happen. If they were LED it would really depend on the ballast electronics and how their construction handled low voltage across the DC transformer.
