1. Baby toys can you recommend?
one's not made in china - I am afraid of lead in the paints
2. what's your stand on this following issue? US pay 26 million to chinese prostitution study?
So that's why red lights have started to close and prostitution is not available everywhere like before... IN SHORT, I THINK THE US GVMNT IS FUNDING THIS STUDY TO SHED LIGHT ON THINGS THAT THE CHINESE GVMNT DOESN'T WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW. For a fact, the authorities have started to take measures against prostitution only now, in past years it was terrible. I think the US is funding this study to hit the nail on the head on China's bad sides... The Chinese gvmnt is probably spending 50 times more than that on Chinese Propaganda all over the world. You can not say you never saw videos funded by the Chinese gvmnt showing how splendid, advanced, and economically developed China is. No need to talk about the brainwashing and the national propaganda there is. They have thought the people to ignore any issues and live with the idea that their gvmnt and their race and nation. Have you ever tried opening a sensitive subject in a conversation with a Chinese person? They just can not admit anything that is going wrong in their country. To prove this, you remember what was the Chinese gvmnt's reaction when western media has made many failures of Chinese industry public: tainted toothpaste, toys with led paint, dangerous toys, baby toys with gasoline in their contents and so on. They have blamed the western media of falsely fabricating these stories and making a fuss out of this. But then the same thing happened in their country with tainted milk, fake eggs, fake cigarettes... If you tell this fact to a Chinese, most of their answers will be: "Go back to your country, Just do not buy Chinese products". They are not able to admit that their country has a problem.
3. What are the best cleaning whipes to clean baby toys with?
Plain 'ol soap and water
4. How to clean vibrating baby toys (made of material)?
We have a couple of similar toys. It is not that make but when my third child was due they had been in storage and needed a good clean. The ones with batteries I took out the whole unit and washed the toy. Those vibrating ones I washed on the wool cycle in a front loader. I would not put them in a top loader though, as they might be immersed too much in the water. So you could also give them a really good scrub with detergent and a clean scouring pad/pan sponge. The vibrating bit came back after the toy dried.
5. MIL is buying my baby toys and clothes?
I think you sound like a spoiled brat. "she would rather give her grandchild used crap from someone else's baby than spend a couple extra bucks to give the baby something new to wear or play with" Who cares if it's used? If you do not like it, donate it to a charity that will give it to someone who will appreciate it. **EDIT** Who said anything about giving used items for a baby shower?!
6. How do I clean these plush baby toys?
The plastic ones can be cleaned with a mixture of bleach and water. Just let them dry out and rinse them with water before giving them to your baby. The plush ones can only be spot washed. To kill any bacteria, throw them in the dryer for ten or fifteen minutes.
