1. How do I get free USPS boxes and how to I package items?
Certain free items are available at your local post office or at USPS.com. Always pack items appropriately for the journey they are taking. Pack fragile items in bubble wrap and/or packing peanuts. When in doubt of weather conditions use "Tyvek" packaging which is weather and tearproof. Leave as little space inside a package as possible as the greatest amount of damage results from items bouncing back and forth against sidewalls during normal handling
2. An abundance of one-line Rebus puzzles
The answers for 2, 3, 8, and 9:2: "Ag=silver with marriage" = "Silver wedding anniversary" 3: "wolf in WOOL" = "Wolf in sheep's clothing" 8: "SGEG = permutation of EGGS" = "Scrambled eggs" 9: "SYOBSYOB = BOYS BOYS backwards, inside TOWN" = "The Boys are Back in Town"and the answer for 7 in collaboration with Hellion7: "badly spelled version of WEATHER" = "Spell of bad weather"and perhaps an answer for 5: "a break in TRADITION" = "Break with tradition"
3. I hate the feel of metals and paper.?
I have something similar. I cannot stand the feeling of walking bear foot through warehouses or any company that sells tools, wood and other building materials. I also can not stand the site of finger nails touching the external paint of a car. It's similar to the chalk board thing, but much worse. I think this could be included in some of our fears. The average normal person has 10-20 fears. Animals, heights, sensations like when you touch something, deep water, weather, irregular fears etc. You are not weird or anything haha
4. Is global warming a weather phenomenon?
global warming is not real
5. I want to own a cat but I'm allergic is there anything I can take to be able to tolerate a cat in the house??
I am dreadfully allergic to cats, and yet we have seven indoor cats. I cycle the over the counter allergy meds every six weeks and maintain my tolerance. We invested in a Dyson Animal vacuum, which does an incredible job of fur catching. I change my A/C filters every 2 weeks. When weather permits, I keep my windows open to air out the house. I have always been determined to not let my cat allergies rob me of the little furballs, so I just live on maintenance over the counter meds. My doctor said that they are not harmful long term, and that the prescription stuff wo not work any better for pet allergies. Their love is worth the itchy nose and eyes, and you may find that over time, you become less and less sensitive to them.
6. What is the weather like in Seattle?
During the warmest part of the summer, typical highs are in the mid-80s. Hot days are around 90. The record high is 106, I think. During the winter, if it gets below freezing for the low temperature, it is considered quite cold. There's usually a stretch of lows in the 20s, and on rare occasions it gets into the teens. Record low is zero. It does not snow much here. In the typical winter we get two or three snowfalls of a couple inches each. We have had 18-inch snowfalls in my memory, but those are quite rare. During the fall/winter/spring, we get a lot of gray and rainy days. The rain is typically drizzly, so the total rainfall for Seattle is actually less than a fair number of American cities. But during the fall/winter/spring, it is not unusual to go a week, or two or three, with gray skies and no sunshine. Many people who move to Seattle from elsewhere have a harder time with the gray than with the rain.
7. weather in rome, italy in february?
Hi! I am Italian living in Milan and often travelling to Rome for job reasons. Normaly in february (expecially in the first half) it's cold (you can also find snow sometimes). Be prepared to have a temperature between -3 C and 10 C (= 26.6 F and 50 F). I think you should chose a multilayer apparel, woolen sweaters (not too warm) and a good jacket. Better if you check the temeperature and meteo before leaving. And, if something unexpected happens, you can always buy something to wear in Rome (wich is a grate place for shopping ;) ) Ciao, have a nice trip! Silvia
