Shout "No" if he gets close, and if he backs up, congratulate him by giving him a treat
1. Cleaning baby toys from garage sale..?
You can spray them or wipe them down with disinfecting spray/wipes. Or you can soak them ina clorox bath. 3 parts water 1 clorox. If they are stuffed animals and such just throw them in the washer with really hot water, detergent and some Clorox for normal clothes. Not the bleach kind. They should be ok. If you can not put them in the washer, get a toothbrush or cloth (depeding on how big it is) and just scrub with hot water and soap.
2. 3 month old baby and toys?
No you should not feel bad at all. Babies need to know the can entertain themselves. my daughter hated being in her swing or bouncer and even her floor mat. but i just kept on it, because i needed to clean my house and do laundry. Nw i got her a jumperoo and she loves it there are lots of fun colorful things to play with and entertain her. but babies eed tie with themselves, thats when they get to know themselves too. But you should not feel bad at all
3. When can I get a baby toys?
you can get him stuff whenever you want.. he may not be interested right away.. but in a month or two he could really start liking it. rattles and stuff are fun and they teach them cause and effect (you shake the toy, it makes a sound). but if he doesnt like it right away, dont worry, hes still so young. my daugther just barely started really getting into the toys she got for christmas!!
4. Baby toys that drive you batty?
My oldest (8) had this thing called "twirlin whirlin garden" and it played awful circus music and spun these block type things around.....my youngest (3) had a toy that would go off if you just happened to walk past it (not good if you are trying to get him down for a nap)
5. What are some MUST HAVES for a 7-9 month old baby for toys?
My son's favorite toys are the ones he can chew on. Those plastic stacking rings are really good, as are those different shaped blocks that go through their own little holes in a lid. He also loves to cuddle with stuffed animals (especially this little lamb that his aunt got him when he was born) and absolutely loves pushing buttons that make noise. Every baby is different though. Find out what your child likes more, and do not worry about name brands. Get what looks more fun in the eyes of a 7 month old. Something sweet, simple, and desireable
6. Home made cheap baby toys!?
You could sew some stuffed animals or perhaps find some wooden blocks and paint them. Beyond that I am not entirely sure what you could make that would be safe for your child. Just remember they put everything in their mouths.. so the materials you choose need to reflect that. I am not sure how you are going to have much success but good luck. There are natural, organic types of toys on the market that you could find online.. This would be different from "whatever everyone has". (My daughter adores her plain, common Walmart bought toys btw!)
7. What or how would you clean used baby toys?
You can still wash them in the washer. I have washed tons of my sons toys with plastic and cloth on them in the washer. Some did not have to be dried much, but some I threw in the dryer as well, which worked fine, it was just VERY loud. Use hot water, and do it on a regular cycle, and they should be fine.
8. new baby - no toys!?
wow I never heard of that.. I would throw a rattle, teether or maybe a musical book in anyway and she's gonna wish she had a swing or something to calm the baby down and to give her a break
9. Do you buy used baby toys/furniture/accessories?
its ok to buy used stuff. Like cribs, strollers. stuff like that. People purchased me baby blankets, clothes, bottles, bibs. The more personal items I would purchase but the big stuff is ok to buy used. Just disinfect everything well
