If you are moving (in which case you obviously need to take him), bring him in a medium sized cage with distractions (wooden toys, etc.) mine loves the ones where they have to get through a little wooden ball of sticks to get to the nut in the middle...He, like most other rabbits, probably wont like to travel! If you are going on vacation- dont take him unless he is really laid back and trustworthy (but rabbits generally dont like being cooped up away from home for a long time). Consider getting a petsitter to feed and play with him. good luck
1. Why does my rabbit chew, then eat cardboard?
If she only gets cardboard once in a while (say once or twice a week) she should be OK. It's not her diet, that seems fine. She is having a good time with the TP rolls and eating it is just part of that. Try other toys. Nylabones, Ferret and bird toys are good. Try getting her a kids ball. You know, the soft plastic ones that come in swirly colors at Walmart. Offer wooden toys made for rabbits so they are safe. Get one of those tunnels they make for cats. Also, if she does not go outside, grow her some of that cat grass and catnip, she will love a pot of mint too.
2. McCain was a teen before plastics, TV, or telephones were invented. Did he play with wooden toys as a child?
better than doing coke in his teens... I take it you have issue with older americans, do you also discrimanate based on race?
3. I don't know what kind hamster supplise I need! HELP?
Keeping a hamster is actually generally cheap, so money is not that much of an issue; You can use the fish tank, but make sure it's clean (clean it in hot/warm water and make sure it's completely dry before putting the hamster in it) Food is generally cheap; just a blend of seeds and other hamster tid-bits, that can easily be found in your local pet store, if need be, you can get it from Walmart; there's not much of a difference between brands. You will need a water bottle, which can be found at a local pet store, or at Walmart. But do not make the mistake and give the hamster a water dish/bowl instead of a water bottle; the dish will either get tipped over, therefore defeating the purpose, or, if it's deep enough, the hamster could potentially drown in it. The hamster will need bedding to line the bottom of the cage with, but make sure it's not cedar. Some commercial bedding can be dangerous to a hamster, so just use your head when choosing the type of bedding you are going to use. A wheel is ideal, but sometimes, it can be very annoying, especially at night, when the hamster is most active. If you plan on keeping the hamster in a room that someone occupies at night, you might want to invest in a wheel that is non-squeek, because most metal wheels can and will squeek; all night. Hamsters have constantly growing teeth, so make sure to get them chew toys made of wood (chew wood blocks and wooden toys are good, but make sure they are specifically for rodents; you can not just give it a hunk of wood to chew on). Tunnels/tubes can be expensive if you really want to decorate the hamster's cage, so do the alternative; give them paper towel/toilet paper rolls, once you are done using it. Make sure you change the rolls every time you clean the cage (generally once a week), just as a rule. Also, be sure to give your hamster fruit from time to time, but make sure you clear it all out by the next day if the hamster does not touch it/leaves it. Hope this helps (:
