Sony offers full back lighting on their XBR line and Samsungs Micro dimming is very close to full back lit quality. The technologies are all pretty comparable so I would go somewhere you can see all three in lighting close to at home. A mom and pop store or Magnolia Home Theater at Best Buy is a great place to view all three and see which one you like best. I will tell you, having sold of these brands, you will love any of three as they are really nice sets

5. New Samsung 32inch LED TV Blurry on XBOX 360. How can I fix this?
you need to calibrate using your television, your cable and your xbox. you could no longer use somebody else's settings. put in a Pixar DVD and bypass to the Video setup menu. There are attempt types and classes for putting the common Brightness, assessment and shade. this could provide help to a coarse calibration on your kit
6. How do I put my xbox 360 into my new samsung led tv?
You could use your AV cables to connect the Xbox 360 to the Samsung LED TV. However, to maximize the picture quality, I recommend you use an HDMI cable instead. You can get a nice one for about $10 at Amazon.com. Good luck.
7. Will Obama help me to buy new big screen LCD or LED TV?
No. Unplug your TV if you are concerned about power consumption
8. LG LED TV Picture problem?
First answer is correct. Check your manual and see if your TV is has a screen maintenance function that cleans up image retention. On Panasonics, they have this feature where the TV will display a big white vertical bar that would go accross the screen to remove image retention. (reset the pixel color).
9. Why would someone want to purchase an 3d led tv?
In a 3d movie you have to have two images of everything. One for the left eye and one for the right. Then they have to be to the right and left of each other at different distances so they look like they are in front of or behind the screen. Or over lap as one image too look like they are at screen level. Now anaglyph 3d that uses glasses in two colors like red and cyan ( a blue green), green and magenta, yellow and blue, must have the two images those same colors. So if your glasses are red and cyan then all images for the right eye must be say red and all the left images cyan. Then the lenses block the opposite color so each eye only gets one image. Since they use color for the 3d effect any color tv and dvd player can do this 3d format. Most people do not like anaglyph 3d. To do the other two 3d formats 1. polarized like in theaters or 2. field sequential that uses the shutter glasses you have to have a tv that can do them because they do not use color for the 3d effect. For polarized you have to have half the pixels give out one polarized light wave and the other half give out a second polarized light wave, or have the pixels switch between two light waves some how. Then each lens of the glasses only let one light wave through. That way you can get one image to each eye. A regular tv was never made to do such a thing. For field sequential you have shutter glasses. One lens will open while the other one closes and they do this back and forth very fast . Then when one lens is open the image for that eye flashes on screen. Giving each eye one image. Again you have to have a tv that can handle switching between to images and you need hardware to tell when the lenses of the glasses need to open and close. Plus you need a dvd player that can read the extra information of the movie in field sequential 3d. Both polarized and field sequential 3d look the same, they just work different. Almost all tv's are going to use field sequential. Very few will use polarized.
