u201cBetteru201d might be subjective, as I personally prefer Notepad over VS Code. Notepad loads much faster, looks & behaves like a native Windows app (despite being created by Microsoft, VS Code was clearly influenced by Sublime Text), and is overall less annoying to use than most other code editors due to its simplicity. (I have every free cross-platform editor that exists installed on my laptop and use them all from time to time.
)But VS Code does have a wider feature set, and through extensions supports syntax highlighting for more languages than Notepad, including the latest frameworks & libraries, like TypeScript for Angular, JSX for React.js, and VUE files for Vue.js.
Personally I donu2019t use VS Code unless Iu2019m working on a project that really benefits from either its autodetection/code completion features or its syntax highlighting. Otherwise, I almost always use Notepad for its faster performance, familiar classic Windows-style UI, and its default colors for syntax highlighting (I know itu2019s not exactly the norm, but I vastly prefer dark text on a white background).

My parents won't let me audition, what do I do?
Thats so cool! My mom loves kpop, and one day she could be listening to your music! That is, if your parents dont get in the way of your dreams.
It is not a waste of time. Doing kpop is a career, and you get paid a good amount of money. I dont see a reason why it is a waste of time.
If that is what you want, then you need to sit youself and your parents down to talk about it. At least get them to let you audition, but explain to them that if you made it, then its not a waste of time because you have real talent. It is also definitely not stupid.
You could have real talent and have an awesome future! But none of that will matter if your parents stop you. Whatever you do, try and act professional about it when you talk to them.
Do not argue or whine, but prove that you are responsible enough to do it. This is a big deal! If it means that much to you, then show them in a responsible manner that you can do it.
Hope i helped :).

How do you say "I miss you" in Polish? Does it change according to who you're talking to?
u201cI miss youu201d in Polish is u201cTu0119skniu0119 za tobu0105u201d (I'll use correct spelling if you don't mind). The problem is that you would say that to family member, really close friend or a partner, since it implies some emotional connection in most instances. If you want to say that to your old boss or person that you know in general, but is not close emotionally, u201cBrakuje mi Ciebieu201d.
u201cCiebieu201d interchanged with u201cPanau201d which is a form of Mr or Sir. If you talk to a woman, u201cPaniu201d is a word to be used because it's a form of Miss or Mrs. The said phrase doesn't imply emotional connection.
Instead, it just informs the other person it feels odd when they're not in the place where they usually are.Well, there's also a problem of how you say it, but that's for completely another topic because the same phrase can have tons of connotations depending on how you say it, just like in English or any other language

What does it mean if you greet someone with a friendly hello and smile, they stare at you with a mean face and donu2019t say hello back? Why does this keep happening to me?
What does it mean if you greet someone with a friendly hello and smile, they stare at you with a mean face and donu2019t say hello back? Many people prefer not to engage with strangers. So many, in fact, that I would say itu2019s a common attitude.
Therefore, if you donu2019t know these people, itu2019s safe to assume that theyu2019re trying to discourage you from further contact. If you do know them, though, this explanation doesnu2019t apply. Are you interrupting them?
I know if Iu2019m concentrating, I resent having to lose focus just to say hello to someone. Thatu2019s just a thought. It may not apply.
Why does this keep happening to me?Do you make eye contact first, before you say hello? That will probably help.
If you make eye contact and smile and they look away, youu2019ll know that they prefer not to be greeted. Donu2019t greet them.Only say hello to people who smile back.
This is true whether you know them or not. Itu2019s what I do, and it works for me

How do I start the body of a formal letter?
If you are planning to write a formal letter for IELTS examination then you need to read the question first thoroughly.
If it is falls into category complaint resignation and request then you should write it in formal style.Coming to the question, the body of formal letter should be written according to the question that has been asked. There are three Bullet points that you need to inculcate and your writing so on the basis of your subject you can develop your content for your formal letter.
In formal letter, you should directly talk about the points and demands , you would you like to make and this demand should be strictly in formal language. The salutation could be dear sir and madam and you should end it with your faithfully. In semi formal letter you can and its with your sincerely.
It is suggested to write your full name and conclude strictly with the formal style. there should at least be 5 paragraph. The first should be introduction, second should be the body which should be further divided on the basis of three Bullet points have got in the question.
And last paragraph should be a very formal Conclusion and request.Note-I work at Achievers Point

I'm 18. Is it too late to learn web development?
LOL Im technically a senior. Its NEVER too late! Although I have been doing webdev since my 30s/40s in the 1990s, Im still learning all the time because front-end tech changes so quickly.
Check another answer I gave for a bit more detail.I also answer a lot of common questions about front-end dev, so you could take a look through those too (Id add a link but Quora doesnt offer one for all a users answers). To sum up:just get started on a hobby project todayavoid JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, Ember) for nowuse codeCademy and FreeCodeCamp to learn the basicsstay away from StackOverflow for a bit (overload, some poor answers)use W3Schools (the HTML tutorial is a good start) although some of the code is outdatedfind a friend or family member who want a websiteread up on Mobile-First development and Responsive Web Designcheck A Book Apart for some great little books on front-end devread up on web accessibility at WebAimDont worry, if youre a logical and methodical thinker and put the time in youll be competent within 36 months - the rest might take longer :-)

What does "" mean in C programming?
This operator is combination of two operators first one is addition operator and the second one is assignment operator '' we can write the statementa a b as ab and it will do the same operation as what the prior one will do.This is a binary operator and comes under the type of assignment operators.this operator first adds the rhs value to the left variable then assign two variable to the new value.
If use the prior expression i. e a a b it will take more time as compared to the latter one because in the first expression it creates a temporary string to store the result of a b which is then stored in a but in the latter expression if appropriately implemented it does not create a temporary string. Thus from the above discussion we can conclude that the latter expression is far more faster than the prior one if use them in a longer codes and if it is implemented appropriately and it also reduces the expression length to make it look good.
Hope it helps.Thanks

Why is the English word u201ctwou201d spelled and pronounced the way it is?
Philology and the Norman Conquest of England.
Hereu2019s the etymology: two - WiktionaryThis takes you back to proto Indo-European. But we neednu2019t go back that far.Just go back to the fall of Rome and the subsequent Romance languages that evolved from Latin.
One of them was French. The inhabitants of England prior to 1066 were largely Germanic migrants who gained dominance over the island centuries beforehand. Their dialect was closely related to Frisian, in which u2018zweiu2019 becomes u2018tweeu2019.
So for hundreds of years that was evolving but the TW sound remained. Fast forward to Hastings and now the country is being run by Francophones who say u2018deuxu2019. Itu2019s widely believed that over time the French influence on the word (spelled u2018twou2019 at the time) simply rendered the W silent.
Why did that stick and French didnu2019t replace all the Germanic words in the English vocabulary? Because the nobility and their employees would be the ones working with numbers in an official capacity. Remember that about 95% of the world back then was entirely illiterate

Is it ever appropriate to have a friendship with your therapist after therapy has ended?
Ethical guidelines (ACA) have broadened greatly on the topic over the years. here is a counseling ethical standard that could be used to guide a therapists decision in the matter:Counselors consider the risks and benefits of extending current counsel- ing relationships beyond conventional parameters. Examples include attend- ing a clients formal ceremony (e.
g. , a wedding/commitment ceremony or graduation), purchasing a service or product provided by a client (excepting unrestricted bartering), and visiting a cli- ents ill family member in the hospital. In extending these boundaries, counselors take appropriate professional precau- tions such as informed consent, consul- tation, supervision, and documentation to ensure that judgment is not impaired and no harm occurs.
Another one isCounselors avoid entering into non- professional relationships with former clients, their romantic partners, or their family members when the interaction is potentially harmful to the client. This applies to both in-person and electronic interactions or relationships.Mad you can see, relationships beyond counseling can exist but potential harm must be explored.
For myself personally- there have been a handful of times I have extended relationships beyond normal parameters.

What is the final part of a play called?
The final part of a play is either the conclusion or the epilogue.
It would be nice and convenient if all plays took a similar form, but though they do tend to follow a set process, they are each either slightly, or considerably different to each other. The opening is called the u201cprologue,u201d which used to most often take the form of a player entering and setting the scene for the audience. A classic example is Richard III in Shakespeareu2019s play of the same name, with his u201cNow is the winter of our discontentu2026u201d More often the prologue is set up by two or more characters via an informative scene, usually at the start of the first act.
The play then progresses through the various u201cacts,u201d until all the plot elements come together to conclude the story, This is called the u201cdenouementu201d or the conclusion. There is sometimes a final scene which resolves the issues of the story and ties up any loose ends, and may even projects thoughts and ideas for the future (beyond the scope of the play) this is called the u201cEpilogue. u201d.
