Ian Robert Beven (born 27 November 1958 in Hobart) is a former first class cricketer. He was brought up in Tasmania, whom he represented in the Sheffield Shield between 1980/81 and 1983/84.

In 1983 he moved to Scotland and played club cricket. He became a permanent citizen and took a wicket with his first ball for Scotland, trapping Test player Roland Butcher LBW. He went on to appear 27 times for Scotland and he helped them reach the 1999 World Cup by taking 17 wickets in their ICC Trophy campaign.

Early life and career of cricket balls

Gifford was educated at Malvern College, where he was captain of the First XI cricket team, and played against a Worcestershire Development XI in 2000.

In 2002 he scored 104 for Worcestershire Under-19s against their Gloucestershire counterparts, putting on 292 for the fourth wicket with Craig Everett (215 not out).

In 2003 and 2004 Gifford made a number of appearances for Worcestershire Second XI, his innings including 104 against Gloucestershire II in May 2004.

In 200405 he was selected for the England Under-19s' tour of India, playing in two Youth Tests and four Youth ODIs.

Muhammad Kashif (born 22 October 1987) is a Kuwaiti cricketer. He played in the 2013 ICC World Cricket League Division Six tournament. In June 2019, he was named as the captain of Kuwait's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their series against Qatar. The following month, he was named as the captain of Kuwait's squad for the Regional Finals of the 201819 ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier tournament, He finished the tournament as the leading run-scorer, with 143 runs in three matches, and was named the Player of the Series.

Wilfrid Timms of cricket balls

Wilfrid Walter Timms (28 September 1902 30 September 1986) was an English cricketer and schoolteacher who played first-class cricket for Northamptonshire and Cambridge University from 1921 to 1932.

Timms made his first-class debut while still a schoolboy at Northampton School for Boys. In his second match, when Northamptonshire followed on 381 in arrears, he scored 154 not out in five and three-quarter hours to save the match.

From 1930 he taught as a schoolmaster at Charterhouse School in Godalming, running the cricket at the school from 1932 to 1946.

Murray Vernon of cricket balls

Murray Trevor Vernon (9 February 1937 16 April 2013) was an Australian cricketer who played regularly for Western Australia from the late 1950s to the late 1960s. Vernon scored 4067 runs for Western Australia at an average of 34.76 with a highest score of 173, including eight centuries. He captained Western Australia in two matches in the 196263 season when Barry Shepherd was unavailable, losing both. Born in Kondinin and growing up in South Perth, he also captained Melville in the Western Australian Grade Cricket competition. Vernon died in Perth in April 2013, after a short illness.

Rohan Nishantha Weerakkody (born April 30, 1968 in Colombo) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer. Making his known debut for the Sri Lankan Young Cricketers side (the original name of the Sri Lankan U-19 cricket team), he went on to captain the side on 7 occasions during the 1987/88 Youth World Cup, winning 3 matches but losing 4 and failing to qualify beyond the Group Stage. He went on to play domestic cricket professionally for Nondescripts Cricket Club at both First-class and List A level.

He played primarily a bowler, with a good bowling average in the low 20s-high 10s at senior level.

Linsey Claire Neale Smith (born 10 March 1995) is an English cricketer. In October 2018, she was named in the England women's cricket team squad for the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20 tournament. She made her Women's Twenty20 International cricket (WT20I) debut for England against Bangladesh Women on 12 November 2018.

In February 2019, she was awarded a full central contract by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for 2019. On 18 June 2020, Smith was named in a squad of 24 players to begin training ahead of international women's fixtures starting in England following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Christopher Richard Granville Kippax (born 3 May 1969) is a former English cricketer. Kippax was a right-handed batsman. He was born in Leeds, Yorkshire.

Kippax played a single List A match for Cumberland in the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy against Devon in September 2002. Kippax scored five runs and bowled five wicket-less overs.

Between 1999 and 2001, Kippax played for Radcliffe-on-Trent in the Nottinghamshire Cricket Board Premier League and for Harrogate in the Yorkshire Premier League from 2003 to 2004.

His father, Peter, played first-class cricket for Yorkshire, while his brother, Simon, played List A cricket for Cumberland.

Overseas experience of cricket balls

For the 201112 season, Kasperek signed for the Western Fury, a team in Australia's Women's National Cricket League (WNCL), also playing club cricket for Midland-Guildford. For the 2012 County Championship season, she switched from Scotland to Essex, although later in the year she did play one final international tournament, the European Twenty20 Qualifier in Ireland. Having been named Essex's player of the year, later in the year Kasperek signed for the Wellington Blaze, which plays in the New Zealand State League.

Tobias Verwey (born November 2, 1981) is a Namibian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a wicket-keeper. He has played first-class cricket with the Namibian cricket team since 2005, having represented the team in 12 Youth One Day Internationals between 2000 and 2002.

He played for Namibia's Under-19 World Cup squads of 2000 and 2002 before stepping up to the first-team squad. He has since played in the respective tours to Namibia of the Pakistani and Bermudan teams.

Sodhi played as an all-rounder who batted right-hand and bowled right-arm medium. He appeared in 76 first-class and 55 List A matches in a career that spanned 13 years between 1990/91 and 2003/04 besides Madhya Pradesh cricket team , Sodhi played for Central Zone cricket team from 1990/91 to 1999/00, Rest of India in 1999/00.

After his playing career, Sodhi turned to coaching. He was appointed Madhya Pradesh cricket team's assistant coach and now current coach of the team.

Career in Guernsey of cricket balls

John Kerr (8 April 1885 27 December 1972) was a Scottish cricketer from Greenock.

A right-handed batsman, Kerr represented Scotland for 26 years and is their longest serving player of all time. His unbeaten 178 against Ireland in Dublin remained a national record for 3 decades until it was passed by James Aitchison. Aitchison was also the man to pass his record tally of 1975 runs for Scotland. Kerr played club cricket for Greenock and scored 21558 runs for them and made 49 hundreds.

He was also the cousin of the Scottish double international, James Reid-Kerr.

Bharti Fulmali (born 10 November 1994) is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Vidarbha women's cricket team. She has being playing cricket since she was 13, making her senior debut at the age of 17. In January 2019, she was named in India Blue's team for the 201819 Senior Women's Challenger Trophy.

In February 2019, she was named in India's Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) squad for their series against England. She was one of two players from Vidarbha women, along with Komal Zanzad, to be selected for the national team. She made her WT20I debut for India against England on 7 March 2019.

Gagan Khoda pronunciation(helpinfo) (born 24 October 1974 in Rajasthan, India) is a former Indian cricketer. He played two One Day Internationals in 1998. Despite scoring 89 runs in one of those two innings, he never made it to the Indian team after those two matches.

He has been given due recognition now after his appointment as a National Selector by the BCCI on 9 November 2015, representing the Central Zone in the Selection Committee. Now has two children called aaryaman Khoda and aaryaveer Khoda.

Robert Murray McDowall (21 November 1821 5 November 1894), was a Scottish-born Australian cricketer who played two first-class cricket matches for Tasmania. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland.

He has the distinction of having played in the first ever first-class cricket match in Australia. When McDowall bowled Duncan Cooper for 4 in Victoria's first innings, he took the first-ever first-class wicket claimed in Australia. McDowall went on to take 5/27 in the first innings, making him the first man to take a 5 wicket haul in Australian first class cricket history.

Hoare made his debut in minor counties cricket for Norfolk in 1895. Upon his return to England, he played a single first-class cricket match for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) against Oxford University at Oxford in 1903. Batting twice in the match, he was dismissed for 4 runs in the MCC first-innings by William Evans, while in their second-innings he was dismissed for 41 runs by Robert Darling. He also bowled nine wicketless overs across the match. He resumed playing minor counties cricket for Norfolk until 1907, making a further seventeen appearances in the Minor Counties Championship.

A middle-order batsman, he played for Chittagong Division in 2008-09 and Barisal Division in 201011, but when the Rangpur Division team was formed in 2011 he returned to Rangpur as captain of the new team. He was not reappointed captain after 201112, but has remained with Rangpur Division as a player. His highest score is 102 for Rangpur Division in his last first-class match, against Dhaka Division in 201516.
