Neither does my dwarf and he is costing me a fortune in vets bills. I tried smearing cheese on the edges and it worked for a while. If they dont gnaw then they wont wear their teeth down properly and that means lots of lovely vets bills having them cut back so that they can eat. The cutting has to be done if they start getting long because apparently the teeth can get so long that as well as preventing the hamsters from eating properly and starving them to death they can also grow through the roof of their mouth into their brain and kill them. So if they dont chew you will need to get their teeth cut every 5 weeks. This is all very well if they let the vet do it awake but if they have to be sedated like mine to have it done it will end up costing you a fortune. Crunchy treats will help but they wont wear them down enough unless they gnaw constantly

2. Why does my puppy chew up his crate?
He is bored. Walk or excise him until he is tired before crating him. How old is he? Is he teething?
3. is it ok to chew gum during ramadan?
Technically, there are compounds which pass from the gum to your saliva, which would then be swallowed. Unless you are spitting out excess saliva you are still consuming part of the gum. Chewing gum while fasting is also not good for your health. Several compounds found in the gum can cause a laxitive effect, which also is not ideal while fasting.
4. Does your cat chew on everything?

6. how do i teach my 6 week old puppy what is ok to chew on and what is unacceptable to chew on?
Ah the chewing puppy stage. It's just the best is not it? haha. I have an english bully that is almost a year old and he still chews things he's not supposed to! I have found several things to be effective: 1) (a little effective but only works if done right) Have your dog on a leash and walk up to the things you do not want him to chew on, point to it, and say "Bad! Bad ___, bad!" Your dog will avoid it for a little while but then forget--and if the thing in question looks tasty to him, then he might just chew it anyway. This only works if he knows what 'bad' means. Since he's only 6 weeks old, this is probably not the case. 2) (very effective but I always seem to get it in my mouth somehow haha and it's a little messy) Bitter spray. You can buy it at any pet store. Just spray it on whatever you do not want your little guy to go after. It leaves a bitter taste in their mouth and they definitely wo not go after it again until they forget it tastes bad. But you must be careful not to get it on anything that gets near your mouth or nose or eyes because it's nasty! And you can only spray it on things that wo not be damaged by it and are easily washable. But still very effective! 3) (most effective) Put whatever you do not want your puppy to chew away and out of his reach and have lots of chew toys and rawhides available for your little guy. Kong toys are the best when it comes to having yummy things available for him. You can fill them with treats so he's more likely to go for something that's tasty. Do not punish him when you find something he's already chewed up and has since left- chances are he wo not remember and it will make him nervous and scared of you. Just count it as a loss and replace it and learn from it. Shoes, papers, cords, and anything on the floor is the most at risk, so have them secured and out of his reach. If you can not keep cords off the floor, then tape them down or spray them with bitter spray. I can not imagine how awful it would be to see your puppy get electrocuted by biting a cord.. ugh. If you do catch him chewing something he's not supposed to, just take it from him and yell "NOO!!" then hand him something he's supposed to chew on, then praise him when he is chewing it. Praise him for chewing on anything he is supposed to. This will enforce the good behavior. I hope I helped! Chewing is a very frustrating thing but I hope these tips from my personal experience will help you with this. Have a great day!! :)
