The AppleCare Protection Plan are all really expensive, but they are all totally worth it. I have a MacBook Pro, and now I am regretting not getting the warranty. For three years length, it is a deal in my opinion. Just make sure you follow the instructions, because for example, if you wiped your iPod touch with an alcohol wipe (you should not) and it is damaged, then Apple would say that they hold no responsibility since it clearly says to only clean the external body of the iPod touch with a slightly damp lint-free microfiber cloth. It all depends on the role the iPod touch plays in your life though-if you will bring it around, and if it is your only iPod with your whole music library in it, definitely. But if otherwise, you may want to think about it due to the high price tag. :)

Nope. Mac comes complete with dual core processor, RAM, and professional grade programs. If you purchase a XYZ (or, a Dell) that runs Vista or even XP, you will have to spend up to $1250 for the software that Apple includes on their product! The demo computers you can see at Costco or Bestbuy or the Office chainstores, all have TRIALware on their screens, and the prices are HUGE! ( Tip, get the FREE OpenCD at the opencd.org site!) Or, get a Dell Ubuntu laptop. Linux looks and runs similar to Mac, with tons of FREE heavy duty professional grade applications, programs, suites. a. Linux and Macs are IMMUNE to the Microsoft million virus, trojan, malware exploits. Only Microsoft has to run 9 AV and Spybot prevention programs in overhead! b. All movies since "Titanic - 1997" were made using Linux clusters, and Shrek 3 is an example of the prowess of modern, evolved, Linux!
