To answer your question, one rule of thumb is that trends in climate require consideration of at least 5 years. Trevor, the one actual climatologist who posts here, suggests 30 years as a number. So, 5-30 years of data is necessary. Hard data. The fact that people on either side misuse anecdotes about weather to try to prove something about global warming has no bearing at all on the global warming data, and the unavoidable conclusions to be drawn from that data. Real, mostly caused by us. Relevant quote: "I was not convinced by a person or any interest group-it was the data that got me. I could not come to any other conclusion. I was utterly convinced of this connection between the burning of fossil fuels and climate change. And I was convinced that if we did not do something about this, we would be in deep trouble." 1. Writers block on coming up with ideas for powers in my story?
How about controling nature, like plants and stuff. Could be awesome. Or maybe someone who's a shapeshifter or a animal mimicer (someone who can copy the properties of animals) And what about weather? They could create awesome storms or natural disasters...

3. How to be dressy in FREEZING weather?
Wear a pair of dark rinsed jeans or black slacks. If they are not too fittted on you, you can wear stockings or long-johns underneath them. A v-neck, turtleneck or cable knit sweater would be a good choice for a top.
4. Yesterday NY weather?
What about it? It snowed. A lot. Next.
5. what is the weather like in Philadelphia?
I go to college in Philly and have lived here all my life. The past few years it snowed maybe once or twice per winter and it has been really cold. If you are into skiing you could travel up to the mountains where it gets a lot more snow. As far as the city itself...Philadelphia is a great city. Great food, great shops, cool/ tall buildings. If you are a sports fan you are definately in luck. Our fans are porbably the most passionate and loyal (although sometimes brutal) that you will find in the US. Our teams have been doing really well lately too!
6. Richmond BC weather during december?
Weather in Richmond BC is dependent on mother nature. December ends the fall season and begins the winter season. It will be a little bit cold especially if there is a cold front and wind blowing . If there is no cold front, then the weather will be nice. Usually, it's alternating periods of rain, snow and sunny. But temperatures are really low, like below 10 degrees centigrade.
7. Leather jackets are back â here's how to wear them
Now! Quick! Hurry up! Do not delay another minute! That's right: leather jacket season - make that leather jacket few weeks - is upon us once again. It's fashion's flying ant day: an annual but unpredictable occurrence for a garment with an operational window shorter than the Nightingale Hospital. Now is the time to make the most of yours - or to buy a new one, of course. All Saints, home of the high street biker, tells me that shoppers have flocked to buy lockdown leathers online in recent weeks. Too warm for summer, too slight for winter (we will return to this), the leather jacket thrives in weather that is bright, dry and fresh - a bit like it is right now. Run! Expensive wardrobe malingerers,
8. Is there a good brand of walking shoes that I can use for my Washington DC trip?
I like Rockport shoes the best. But whatever you get, wear them for several days before the trip. You do't want to be breaking in new shoes on your trip. We usually have VG weather in late April and early May, but check on weather. com before you pack your clothes. For example, today was mid-70's and dry, but tomorrow will be mid-50's and wet
