A product like a mattress, you need time to go there check it out with significant other or partnerand that creates a lot of barriers to just buying it on any given weekend or day, Manchanda said. Having that extra Monday under your belt gives you all the time you need to make the decision and go through with the purchase. You really shouldnt have a mattress for more than 7 to 9 years, so if yours is starting to feel old, this weekend might be the time to get yourself a new bed.
