Yes, went to a Toys For Tots event this past weekend. I love toy shopping! lol
1. Toy Story toys for first birthday?
As its his first birthday he will not really care how many gifts he receives. If he has tonnes of toys, more toys are not necessary. Maybe just one large plush toy will be fine. I would get him a small chair and table set... in a few months time he will be big enough to finger paint etc. and other seat work.
2. The lowdown on Airsoft guns.?
airsofts are great, a lot of people mistake them for toys but their not, their are competitions for these, shooting compititions for the higher quality guns. and they even have airsoft wars, kind of like paintball wars. you can by them from $6-$300, depending if you want a plastic cheapy or a replica quality. they use a bigger bb than normal bb guns, about 3x the size. they range in fps from150fps to 500fps. so ya their not toys, the higher power ones will penatrate skin if hit directly. but thay great fun. good luck
3. Celebrating a not so traditional
How refreshing! I agree. Christmas is all about toys for children and that's not cool at all. Just set an example from the start. Instead of buying a bunch of toys that will be afterthoughts come February, donate time and services to those who are less fortunate. It does not have to be just at Christmas time either. I do not know where you live, but it snows quite a bit here. There are tons of elderly people who need their sidewalks shoveled (and since she will be young for quite a while, you can give the inscentive that she can play in the snow after she is finished helping). Baking cookies for others is also a good way of showing good will and kindness. The sweets can then be donated to shelters or soup kitchens that are serving a holiday meal so the patrons have dessert. I agree with another responder who said to give her things that are not just about the latest trends - buy things that have meaning and are functional. good luck!
4. How do you know if your rats are bored?
Are there toys in there for them and things to chew on? Maybe you could buy them a hammock because they do love sleeping, chewing and playing in them
5. Why does my dog eat his toys?
mine does this, they pull out the squeekier in the toy. and for some reason mine hates stuffed toys. there gone in 1 minuted but the rubber ones they play with. i been trying to get them to stop after 6 yrs but nothing worked. they get exercise, plenty of food and attention but they still do this.
6. Is my hamster dieng!? URGENT HELP NEEDED.?
JUST LIKE SOMEONE SUGGESTED, CHECK FOR WET TAIL. MY HAMPSTER PIRATE SLEEPS EVERYWHERE. HE SLEEPS ALL DAY AND HES UP MOST OF THE NIGHT ON HIS WHEEL. MY HAMSTER BIGGUMS DIED OF WET TAIL. I THINK YOUR HAMPSTER IS FINE AS LONG AS HES EATING AND DRINKING. FRESH FOOD AND WATER EVERYDAY AND CHEW TOYS. CHANGE THE BEDDING ONCE A WEEK. THATS HOW I'VE DONE IT WITH PIRATE FOR THE YEAR I'VE HAD HIM
7. How many Fathers own some sort of protection for their family?
1- Guns are not toys. 2- You have to be very serious when you think about taking someone's life. 3- Get a loud dog that barks and an alarm system instead. If you do get a gun, then it should be your last line of defense after getting an alarm system and a dog that barks at people. I am VERY pro-gun, but I am also VERY pro-responsibility.
8. What should I make/buy for my 9 week old chihuahua? I'd prefer a list! ?
if you live some where cold be sure to get a coat/sweater that fits your puppy it will need it for cold days make sure toys are safe nothing it can tear off & swallow to get caught in the throat. lots of chew toys for when the pup teeth's have fun with you new pup
