Kongs are the ultimate! I have a labrador that could destroy ANYTHING and she's had that for months.... Wonderful creation! Also... rope toys, those work good for tug of war and just throwing... Floaty toys if the dog will be a swimmer. Squeaky toys can be fun but get very annoying... And tennis balls of course. it works better if you have a bat, too. I hit the ball for my dogs and have them bring it back. They love it! Hope this helps :)

just dont get stuff animals i am tired of cleaning up fuzz everyday
2. How do you get a dog unafraid of dog toys?
Counter conditioning and desensitization.
3. Where can I find indestructible Dog Toys?
I have not yet found a thing my dog can not destroy. I brought her a busy buddies toy, within 3 days she manage to chew the rubber pull rope? Yet i recommended for strong chewers? However if i can find a normal thin pull riope with a knot in the base, then i can recycle the tug a jug
4. What are some ways to make dog toys?
Buy some of the tennis balls made for playing tennis, they last a lot longer than the ones made for dogs. The "kong" toys are also really durable. That's what I buy for my lab who chews through everything else :-).
5. What is the Best or your Favorite dog toys?
I get my dogs plushie toys, since they tend to be a little afraid of rubber-y toys. Also a lot of dogs like plushie toys with tug-a-ropes attached to them. :3
6. Dog toys for tired doggie parent?
Since your dog is a coon hound... He has a high prey drive. So any toy that simulates him getting "prey" should make him happy. The puzzle toys could be good..You might want to try them out, I hear they work well
7. What dog toys/bones are the best for dogs who are chewers?
Kongs (you can put some peanut butter in it and also stuff it with dry dog food or wet dog food or special treats that are made to go in a Kong but the dogs usually like to play with them with out treats. They seem indestructible. We buy rawhide chews that are pressed into the shape of a bone for our dogs; that keeps them busy and satisfies the need to chew.
8. I need new ideas for home made dog toys!?
buy a really sturdy cloth, like burlap or something. sew it into an oval shape and stick cotton in it, but leave two holes on each side near the top and bottom.( a total of 4 holes) then string 2 pieces of rope through the top and bottom to make arms and legs, tie ropes at the end of the rope for hands. then draw a little face on it to make a monkey or monster or whatever you want! =) also try buying some tennis balls, my dog loves them and they are cheap!
9. need website for interactive and durable dog toys?
Each toy is rated on durability.
10. When looking for dog toys, what do you look for?
a rope or sumin. or a ball. its a dog, im sure it wont really care
11. Is Febreze safe on plush dog toys?
I would not Febreeze the dog toy. Try adding baking soda to the wash as it may take the smell out and then hang it out or lay it out to dry in the sun. The sun is a good helper to get rid of smells. Worth a try. I have done it before with some of my beagle toys and its worked on some and others I just had to throw away and replace.
12. What are good dog toys for a Lab/Shepherd mix?
Someone else said this, but I thought I would elaborate. The Kong toys at pet stores are wonderful. They are just about indestructible to my lab/shepherd mix, and you can put treats in them to give your dog hours of fun. They are wonderful!.
13. What are some indestructable dog toys?
I think the brand KONG is good. We get our dogs the KONG balls.
