Is septa Mordane responsible for Sansa's perception, or the lack of, in life?
Septa Mordane, as one of the adults who was responsible for the upbringing of Sansa Stark, was certainly responsible for some of her beliefs about the world. But she wasn't the only person responsible - she was, after all, only a hired teacher; Sansa's parents (yes, both of them) were more responsible for her naivete at the beginning of the series. They should have prepared her for her future better.
Septa Mordane is also responsible for Arya's self-esteem issues: by constantly criticizing her needlework and comparing her unfavourably to her more accomplished sister, Septa Mordane made Arya feel as if she was a failure as a girl. Once again, Arya's parents share some of the blame too - they should not have allowed the septa to show such obvious favouritism

Will Trump hand Biden a weaker economy than George W. Bush handed Obama?By all appearances and reliable public information the answer is yes.The worst economic downturn ever suffered by America began with the 1929 market crash that led to the Great Depression-that spread world-wide and lasted until the late 1930s.The US economy crashed again right at the end of George W. Bushs presidency; that crash was caused by the so-called housing bubble when millions of middle-class Americans could no longer keep paying their mortgages because the popular ARM mortgage interest rates went up too high. It was the second worst crash on record, and is referred to as the Great Recession of 20072010.Although the jury is still out, the current (Trump) economic crash has all the earmarks of the Great Depression-because it too is a very deep world-wide depression that might linger for as long as another decade-unless something changes to correct it.

Why has George W. Bush come closer to explicitly criticizing Trump than he did to explicitly criticizing Obama?Obamas administration followed immediately after Bush the Younger, and Obama was elected in no small part because of the messes that happened on Dubyas watch - particularly the economic collapse. Or, as the onion so famously put it:Black Man Given Nation's Worst JobUnder the circumstances, there wasnt much likelihood Dubya would be particularly critical of Obama. (Even beyond the tradition of past Presidents not criticizing their successors.
)No such restriction applies between Dubya and Trump. And Trump has gone out of his own way to bash his predecessors, so it seems unlikely any of them feel compelled to respect tradition when it comes to him.Original question:Why has George W. Bush come closer to explicitly criticizing Trump than he did to explicitly criticizing Obama?.

Iu2019m 18-years-old and Iu2019ve never had a boyfriend. No boy has u201chit on meu201d or asked me out for a date. Iu2019m not fat or chubby. Does that mean Iu2019m ugly and why I don't have a boyfriend?Well, my dear, I am in the same position as you. But guess I really have never interacted with boys. Now am 18 years old and I am in a university. I really feel my heart is throbbing whenever I talk to a boy of my class so I get scared. But I do really want to have a gut fall in love with me. But whenever boys are talking to my friends, I don't mix myself up with them. I just go far away. Boys in my country are super arrogant. They wait for the girl to talk to them. That's why I don't even talk to them. Sorry, I was carried out by your question. I like it. Thank you for posting

Can Trump actually order Obama to testify in Congress? The president cant force anyone to testify. He is in the executive branch.the DOJ can force him to testify in a court of law And Obama is just a normal citizen now and has no more special rights than you or me. They are the judiciously branch. This is their job. Odumbo can always take the 5th like you or I can. But that would make him just look more guilty.Congress can call on him to testify but he doesnt have to go. Others have blown off congressional subpoenas and nothing happened to them. Congress is the legislative branch and forcing people to testify isnt really their job. They can try it for a congressional hearing but they dont have a lot they can do if someone blows them off

How do corporate venture arms source investments?A2AThere are a few methods of which I am aware:Reading patents that come out of research universitiesAttending trade showsNetworkingReceiving pitches from middle market bankersReceiving pitches from entrepreneursI think that the exact method of deal sourcing will vary by the nature of the corporate venture capital fund. For example, Google Ventures (nominally independent from Google) probably sources a lot of its deals the same way that more conventional venture capitalists source their deals, i.e., via warm introductions to entrepreneurs from trusted contacts.
Other CVC funds, e.
g.
, for the pharmaceutical industry, probably use some combination of the bulletted points above to source deals. Here is a list of corporate venture funds: The 104 Most Active Corporate VC Firms

What is socially acceptable in Europe that would be horrifying in America? When I traveled to western Europe in the 1980s, I was with a tour group. We were all in the bus going down the Champs-Elyses in Paris. All of a sudden, we passed a bus stop. Everyone in the bus gasped in horror as we looked at the benches that had photos of naked women on them.
Everyone on the bus started talking about how horrible that was, especially for children who would see that.Things that are considered taboo here in the states are very visible and freely talked about in Europe.Personally, I ascribe this way of thinking in the states to the founding of this country by very strict, religious Pilgrims and Puritans from England. Their prudish mindset still shapes this countrys collective mindset today

What accomplishments has Jared Kushner achieved in his time in the White House (I mean with all the jobs he was given by Donald Trump)? Most people in any administration act as intermediaries at best.Kushner actually seems to have help in producing the actual new proposal, the first one with anything concrete involved. The u201cmapu201d is a step in a negotiation, and this is the first attempt in many years to try getting past the platitude stage all the way into a negotiation stage.
Will it work? No one knows, but it sure beats the earlier negotiations for which Nobel Prizes were handed out with the value of CrackerJack toys.Aw, nuts! Here's what Cracker Jack is doing to the surprise toy in each boxWhat accomplishements have Jared Kushner achieved in his time in the White House (I mean with all the jobs he was giving by Donald Trump)?

Why do some people say that Alexander was defeated by Porus?I guess because Alexander's India invasion was put on permanent hiatius because of King Porus's mighty stand. Alexander's men mutinied after the battle against Porus and wsnted no more of where that came from. Alexander's army was still in tact but decided India was far enough and had no will to fight. So, they constructed a navy and sailed down the Indus River valley towards the ocean front where the army would break into two groups. As Alexander's army proceeded down the river, the army fought several successful battles in order to pacify and claim this new territory as his final pieces of eastern empire, These final campaigns almost killed Alexander for good as he suffered a horrendous arrow wound to the lung while scaling a walled fortress

Why has the U.S. been involved in so many wars?Several big reasons.Theres a messianic streak in U.S. political life, one that believes we know how other people should live, and have the duty to bring enlightenment to the poor, inferior foreigners. The Wilsonians are also delusionally certain this uplifting will be easy. After WWII, we faced a global struggle with a relentless enemy determined to destroy us. We face another such struggle with radical Islam.Because we dont win wars (this is a matter of policy), its hard to end them without admitting complete defeat. Being defeated is generally the worst possible outcome, except for winning, and thus avoided.
And given the size of our economy, were damn near everywhere. That makes it easy to drift into things. In short, were human, and screw up a lot

If everyone was the same, which person would you want everyone to be?Me - because then wed all be imbued with common sense and the world would be a much better place. Youd go to Fiji and experience their unique food and culture: not to eat at Wimpy and go to the movies. There would be far fewer people on Earth, thus practically no pollution; prices would be stable and there would be no poverty. TV would not be awash with crappy soap operas and mindless talk shows, but would be an educational medium. Wild places would be wild and would need no protection; crime would be minimal, nobody would pay for food, water or shelter, kids would be protected by all adults the list is endless. Best of all, people would have real lives and not spend their days on Quora asking inane questions.

What if Spain and Portugal united?I am neither Portuguese nor Spaniard but I have lived in both countries.I really loved Portugal and I found Spain so so.I found Portugal to be one of the few European countries that has kept much of its culture and pride. I found the Portuguese culture even more interesting than the Italian one and think it deserves more attention from people all over the world. I was also impressed by their knowledge of the world: having lived in a couple of countries in the world, I can say that this knowledge is not common. On the opposite, in Spain, I felt that much of it has been lost, which an old Spanish friend of mine also confirmed to me.
If Portugal and Spain ever united, Spain would get no benefit and for Portugal, it would be a huge catastrophe

Is Canada a better version of the US?No. One place is nothing alike the other.
One thing is right: Canada is less racist, people here actually mix with each other. In the U.S., if you take a bus, youll see Mexicans only with Mexicans, blacks only with blacks, Cubans only with Cubans. In Canada, you wont see this insanity. The truth is that no matter how brilliant you are at your job, youll never be recognized for real in Canada but in the U.S., at least, financially, youll have the potential to be recognized for a good job.If your professional life is not a priority in your life, Canada is your place but if it is, you will be greatly disappointed here.

Is Eskel a more powerful witcher than Geralt?Eskel in the books is implied to have greater magical ability than Geralt, but this doesnt mean a whole lot as the magic that Witchers use is so simple and weak - described as parlour tricks - that its only ever used as something to distract monsters and buy them time. Forget the powerful SIgns from the games that Geralt is able to learn in later levels, in book canon they dont exist.Essentially what this means is Eskel could cast more powerful Signs than Geralt. But as a swordsman Geralt is renowned throughout the continent as the greatest swordsman alive, which is why he would beat Eskel as the sword is the primary weapon of a Witcher, combined with their reflexes and potions that heighten those
