Is ISB Hyderabad better than IIM?Better at marketing itself for sure.Let's only talk about 1 year PGPTalent and Teaching : On parBurden of high fees : Definitely betterStudent Intake : Better (800 Vs 80)Average Placements : CloseNo doubt about the talent pool at ISB, the folks are great. But the high fee is just not worth it, in my opinion.ISB and IIM ABC enjoy almost equal brand reputation. IIM's are good overall choice, for me.
I don't want to start an IIM Vs ISB debate here. But facts are facts. Higher loans will only lead to higher headaches. Life won't change much/improve if you choose ISB over IIM. The loan EMI's surely do.

Does sawdust in the transmission make the gears run smooth for awhile?
It may for a while until the gearbox (I assume you are talking about a manual transmission) dies completely. This is an old wives tale from the 1930's and I have no doubt some people tried it -and definitely finished the gearbox of by doing so. There are many additives and specialist lubricants to do a much better job. Try Redline Lubricants for an excellent gear oil that will quiet noisy gearboxes and differentials and is also good for extreme racing conditions and crisp shifts. If you are referring to an automatic transmission - it will stop working almost immediately, due to the filter getting blocked solid by the sawdust

Why is there a media bias when it comes to politics?
Why is there a media bias when it comes to politics?I majored in editorial communications. In many of the communications classes, I discovered something interesting, I was doing well, based on the curve because there werent a whole lot of deep thinkers in media classes, either among the students or the professors. Not only were some of the professors pundits in the media, some of the students became people you saw on TV and had columns you read.
Now they werent as dim as sociology majors, but there werent a whole lot of critical thinkers and the debates were laughable

Why are popular TV series suddenly cancelled?
The usual factor is that the demographic ratings of the show is low, even if total viewer of the show is high but if demo specifically between 18-34 age is low then the show has high chances of getting axed,as the advertisement money is paid for demo rating and not total viewers and less ad means less money for the channel and production company. Another reason can be that the production cost of the show is really high but in comparison it cannot get that many viewers. It can also be that the main cast members didn't renew their contracts.

Why aren't you interested in politics?
Politics bring out the worst inpeople.it hardly brings out rational conversation anymore, and its the only way I can keep up with the catch phrases of the week, who hates who, who hates America, who's racist, who's homophobic and one thing for sure,..there needs to be term limits for senators and congress as well.I am 67 and can't remember Diane Fienstein as a young woman, even as mayor of San Francisco. Why do companys insist on mandatory retirement, for older workers when our governmeny feels that represenatives in their 80's are still as sharp as they were when they squatted in government 50 years plus

Who was the lead singer of ABC?
Fanzine writer Martin Fry interviewed guitarist Mark White & saxophone player Stephen Singleton of the band "Vice Versa". Following their interview, the pair asked Fry to join their band as their vocalist in 1980.Fry soon became the leader of the band, and changed its name; thus forming "ABC".
In the fall of '81, they signed their first recording contract, and would go on to record a number of hits throughout the 80's, including 'The Look of Love', 'Poison Arrow', 'Be Near Me', 'When Smokey Sings', and my all-time favorite ABC song, 1985's '(How To Be A) Millionaire'

Which movie really disappointed you after you watched it?
When I saw the second Matrix movie, and Neo stopped the squid robots in the real world, I had a Aha! moment. I realized that if Neo could do that then he was still in the Matrix. That meant the whole Zion struggle was just another layer of the Matrix, and the whole set-up was like a Philip K. Dick (whose name I cant remember). How do you ever know youre really out? How do you ever know that you understand the purpose of the Matrix? It was brilliant. Then I saw the actual third Matrix movie, and it was completely lame except for the CGI fights. Very very disappointed

Can you watch Saturday Night Live early (i.e. in real-time) if you live on the West Coast?
Have you considered an exciting career as a Master Control operator at an NBC affiliate? There are also some NBC O-and-O (owned and operated) stations out there.Affiliates have the necessary IRDs (integrated receiver/decoders) for picking up encrypted network satellite services. While you are conscientiously airing your West Coast service and performing other Master Control duties, you can bring up the East Coast service on an auxiliary IRD. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the fun - in glorious HD. Dont put the Eastern feed on the air by mistake.Dont forget to claim that coveted weekend swing shift! And dont let the glamor of working in television get to you!.

Can I use a parameterized constructor with object arrays in C?
Without being able to use something like an initialization list, no, C17 makes that much easier if you know the array size and initializing parameters at compile time.Your best choice is probably to use std::vector. If you allocate it with zero entries, then reserve storage for the number of elements you want, you can call emplace_back with your parameters for each object you want created. This is much better than using new and construction in place, which is full of pitfalls and breaks the storage model (you should use allocators to allocate and free uninitialized storage within which one constructs and destroys objects if you use std::vector, it will do that for you)

What score should we get to pass the CAT exam? What score is required to get admitted into IIMs?
There is no pass and fail with these exams. It's about relative grading/percentile. So depending upon how you and others performed, you get a percentile. If your percentile is high enough, you start getting calls from MBA institutes that are listed under CAT or the ones you opted for while filling the CAT application form.
Again for IIM, score is secondary. Percentile is primary. 99 %ile should start getting you calls.
But remember, CAT percentile only gets you a call. You still have selection rounds after it to convert an institute. I have heard of many students with perfect percentiles getting rejected in the later rounds. So prep well and all the best.

What percentage of Australian-born Chinese (ABC) in Australia cannot actually speak any Mandarin or Cantonese presently?
Generally, those overseas Chinese who are born outside Greater China (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan) don't speak any Chinese languages at all. The only exception are those from Singapore and Malaysia but that's another story.Yes, there are Australian, American, Canadian, born and brought up in those countries not listed above, who can speak some Chinese (be it Cantonese or Mandarin) on a low intermediate level but the percentage is very low like 5% of those born and grew up in Australia. Speaking a few words of Chinese at elementary level (eg. Xie Xie, Ni Hau) don't qualify you as speaking Chinese. This video below shows why

If you're an abc and you're living at home as an adult, living with a mom who barely speaks English and she's all with whom you're interacting, will you forget your English due to your English challenged mother?
Nah, I don't think so. You're an ABC so you're an American and you went through the entire education system in English. Yes, you may not speak English as well as your monolingual white American counterparts (then again, the English language is a pretty white language and generally speaking, white Americans on average have been in America several more generations than your average ABC) but you're still a fluent native speaker of English. You're not necessarily an ESL (English as a Second Language) kid who hails from China or Taiwan. (And if you are, there's nothing wrong with that, either.)

What did Trump mean when he tweeted "covfefe"? What was behind that tweet?
I am more concerned that it was up on twitter for at least an hour, not sure when taken down..and no one said umm maybe we should correct that or take it down?
I mean I think the guy has mental issues as well, but there are far bigger signs of that then a typo...a very bad one. That you would think as president , you would check things before you send them to the world. But that's why I like him on Twitter...It lets us see his mental state, and also they will likely be used against him in court or impeachment.

What are the laziest (preferably famous) logos ever created?
In my opinion, the Nike Swoosh, and for all the right reasons. If you look at the design, it is literally a swoosh in plain white (or different colors depending on the product.) The background is also plain looking. The value is the simplicity and familiarity. Even the name itself, Nike (based on an ancient Greek Goddess for victory), is pretty easy to remember. All of that, in addition to the product quality they keep, helps the logo, or anything remotely similar to it, remind you of the brand, which in my opinion, signifies the absolute marketing success Nike achieved

What do liberals think about this video regarding unchecked Middle Eastern immigration?
Original Question: What do liberals think about this video regarding unchecked Middle Eastern immigration? This Liberal thinks that offering a Youtube video as if it is some kind of evidence is pathetically stupid.I can have a video up on Youtube saying anything I want inside an hour. The US has a long history of racist morons being against immigration of one group or another.
If the Questioner can manage to operate a history book, I would suggest he/she look at what was said about Italian immigration, Irish immigration, and Jewish immigration in the past. Then the Questioner can explain why the arguments made then match the arguments being made now"
