AbsolutelyI took the private pilot practice exams and was scoring 90% and when I went into take the FAA exam I scored a 77%. It happens. I got straight A s in school and I am not letting one bad test throw me off.

Just keep studying it will click. When I did my instrument ground school it was confusing at first then one day I had a light come on and was like oh I get it now. Flying is great and they actually pay you to do it.

I am still amazed. Good thing the airlines don't know we would do it for free if we had too.So just keep practicing it will come.

I did the online programs along with school for the tests. It helped.

Whenever you criticize someone in such a matter of fact way, you are essentially claiming an imaginary moral high ground where you are right and they are wrong.Thats the message that is received, and it immediately puts people on the defense. No one in the entire history of the world ever responded positively to being told they were overreacting.

But the entire tone of the statement changes just by altering a few words, or by finding another way to say it.I think you might be overreacting or I dont think your level of anger is called for in this situation.Statements like these dont sound as threatening or presumptuous, and they open the door for further discussion.

I think this is a problem a lot of people have, I have this issue and have some tricks to help. (These are some tricks but I still suck, and the tricks only apply to names) When I get someones name I try to associate it with something else. i.

e. Sydney Sydney, Australia. (Place, another friend.

) I will also repeat their name. (This works so much better than association, but the thought process of association helps) For maybe the next 4 or 5 times I see them I try to acknowledge them using their name, (I find saying their name aloud helps). It's not much but it does make a positive difference.

Notepad is great for any quick edits, complex text searches or opening code that Visual Studio doesn't know how to visually format, but you'll most likely want to do the bulk of your coding in Visual Studio (if that's where you are compiling your code because it does a good job of keeping track of the file and folder structure, creating of needed files and not only auto-complete, but handy drop down boxes for when you forgot the name of a variable or method, ect. I haven't done code in VS in years, but when I do use it, drag and drop visual layout and code that nearly writes itself makes it much quicker to make a simple utility program
