How did you pay for college without your parents' help? How hard/easy was it for you?
I worked a lot in college, on weekday nights, weekends and holidays.Being a waitress dishwasher salad maker cashier in a small Japanese restaurant 20 RMB (3 USD) a free dinner/nightBeing a tour guide 100 RMB (15 USD)/dayBeing an Japanese-Chinese interpreter in a company 80 RMB (12 USD)/dayBeing a Japanese-Chinese translator (My apologies to my clients. My language skills were shitty.
But the wage and the forever delayed payment were shitty too. ) 20 RMB (3 USD)/1000 wordsBeing a private Chinese tutor 40 RMB (6 USD)/hourThe pay was not good at all, but the working experience greatly built up my knowledge, skills as well as my street smartness. And fortunately, my college tuition was, like most colleges in China then, 1000 RMB (150 USD)/year.
It was decades ago. Nowadays Chinese college tuition is around 5000 RMB (750 USD)/year. And the Disposable Personal Income (DPI) per person of China in 2017 is 25974 RMB (4000 USD)/ year, (Source: National Bureau of Statistics of China), which means its still pretty affordable for the majority.
There are lots of downsides of Chinese education system- intense competition, huge pressure on young children, scores are everything etc.But I cant deny, it also offers relatively fair opportunities, and gives hope to poor families. Its precious in a money-is-everything society

Is Donald Trump legally correct that "the president can't have a conflict of interest"?
It depends on how you define cant.In the case of the Presidency, the concern with a conflict of interest would be, say, for him/her to alter policy with Russia in order to further his/her business interests in Russia. The reason The People demand a removal of conflicts of interest, is because we want to be sure the President is making decisions based on whats best for the country, and not best for the Presidents business interests.
So, can Trump be President without removing his conflicts of interest? Yes. However, should congress decide his business interests led him to make decisions detrimental to the U.
S. the ramifications for the President could be anything from impeachment, to criminal prosecution for corruption, to criminal prosecution for outright treasondepending on the severity of the offense. It would be painfully stupid of The People (us) to allow a President into office who was unwilling to put his businesses in a blind trust.
At minimum, it shows he feels the Presidency is a part time job for him. At worst, its because he fully intends to make use of the Presidency for personal gain.Neither is good for The People

Why do people have the impression that Harry Potter was rich?
Because he is rich. A small fortune is a British term meaning that while the amount of cash isnt as large as Bill Gates its still considerable. James Potter didnt have to work for a living (though he could if he wanted to).
His father Fleamont Potter (nice name, I know), was the one who developed Sleakeazys Hair Potion (as in the potion that Hermione used to turn her hair sleek and shiny when she went to the Yule Ball). He made a fortune out of that business, which of course he would as people pay for excellent cosmetics and beauty treatments.Harry has been mentioned, gazing into his Gringotts vault for the first time:Harry gasped.
Inside were mounds of gold coins. Columns of silver. Heaps of little bronze Knuts.
Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, page 75. And considering that they used real gold and silver coins (Wizarding money is not based on credit the way muggles are), that is incredible. The day when real-life individuals still used precious metals for currency transactions, one gold coin was worth a lot.
And still is today. Which is why, for accessible currency we muggles dont use real gold anymore for our transactions.

Did you expose your husbandu2019s mistress after discovering the affair.
If yes, then how?
I didnt need to expose her. She exposed herself at the end of my first husbands funeral.
She had been a dear friend who had some minor mental health issues. I knew that she was involved with a married man. I had poured my heart out to her on more than one occasion.
I had told how I hadnt been able to make him happy (realizing later that you make yourself happy). She was up at his casket, crying like crazy. It was a closed casket funeral as he had committed suicide.
After she finished crying she walked up to me and asked what he had left for her and their four children. I was in shock and I was angry. I walked away before I said something that I would regret.
I had purchased life insurance on that man and paid for it so my four children & I would have something to take care of us.His family felt sorry for her. They moved her back to their home town.
Later his younger brother married. This was the same brother who proposed to me after the same funeral. It was a strange family.

Where did Trump get his claims that Robert Mueller is u201chighly conflictedu201d?
From the facts/Comey, a subject of the investigation is a long time associate and friend of Mueller. Mueller protected Comey for his misconduct and failures in the Whitey Bloger case.
Mueller was rejected for the FBI directorship by President Trump. His selection of partisan investigators to serve on the investigative team. One was lead council for Hillary Clinton during the e-mail u201cmatteru201d One had been a director of the Clinton foundation.
One Weissman, has a long and documented history of prosecutorial misconduct. He had four major cases overturned (The Anderson case was overturned 9u20130 by the supreme Court) for his personal gross prosecutorial misconduct. Not directly a conflict but an illustration of Muelleru2019s propensity to avoide justice when it would hurt him or one of his friends (Comey), Mueller concealed exculpatory evidence in a Murder case.
He had in his possession surveillance video and Investigator statement that proved the defendants could not have participated in the murder. Even after the court ordered the victims released, Mueller actively worked to prevent their release.Net results of his actions the victims where awarded 238 million dollars in damages.
Unfortunately, two of his victims died in prison and never knew of their exoneration.

Did you ever end up liking someone you initially rejected? What did they do to change your mind?
Yes, this happened to me about 20 yrs ago (back in high school). I met a girl in my class who I could tell liked me right away, but I only saw her as a friend and I wasnt really that attracted to her. What she did to change my mind?
A combination of her consistency, pressure from our social group (they were shipping us big-time) and my guilt which combined to hit me in a moment of loneliness. We hooked up and dated for a time. That said - I can safely say that it was a huge mistake that I massively regret.
Attraction, though it can develop over time, is not something you can turn on or off like a light switch. Everything I liked about her related to the fact that she liked me. The relationship was short.
She ended up getting hurt, and she didnt deserve that. For anyone out there in a situation like this (either side of it), do not pursue the relationship. Everyone deserves to be with someone who is enthusiastic about being with them.
If its not genuinely mutual it will only lead to heartache. I was a 16 year old who didnt know any better

Was Donald Trumpu2019s impeachment warranted?
Trumps impeachment was a legitimate and lawful attempt to put an end to the tenure of our criminal President.
It was hoped this effort would shorten his ongoing corrupt, immoral and unethical behavior as Chief Executive of this nation. Through this process its become crystal clear that our (once principled) Republican Senators have thrown in the towel on the Americans they are sworn to protect by oath to the Constitution. They have thrown their lot in with their criminal master.
Even if you like many of his policies (as does George Conway) its essential to realize that his immoral behavior and utter lack of good character have established a bottom-scraping standard for the office of President. It matters folks. Anyone who thinks they are not enabling a criminal to debauch the office of President and will ultimately regret supporting this deplorable human being.
Its not worth the damage he is doing to the rule of law and our long-cherished democratic ideals generally. If you dont believe this is true, you are sadly mistaken. For your sake as well as the sake of your kids and grandkids, wake up and smell the coffee before its too late.
