West Elm has beautiful, high-quality duvet covers that tend to be much cheaper than other overpriced stores. You would not believe that even Target and IKEA are way more expensive. I just ordered mine from West Elm, and it's great. It's a classy store but somehow does not get a lot of attention

4. What's the difference between a duvet and a comforter?
Duvet and comforters are forms of blankets or quilts taken as protection from the cold. The differences between a comforter and a duvet lie in the material they are made of and their usage. A comforter is a thick, quilted, fluffy blanket intended to keep the user warm. It is usually filled with synthetic fiber filler. A Duvet is a type of bedding - a soft flat bag traditionally filled with down or feathers, or a combination of both and used on a bed as a blanket. Comforters are usually larger than the bed and duvets are usually the same size as the bed
5. How do you feel about comforter covers/duvets (like, from ikea). Do you like them? Do they work?
Duvets are super, cool in the heat, warm in the cold.I bought mine at the Bay a few years ago, feather, expensive tho.I sewed ribbons to each outside corner of the duvet. I then turned the cover for the duvet inside out and sewed ribbons to the corners. When covering the duvet tie the ribbons in a bow while sliding the cover on,the duvet stays in place when sleeping and a little shake keeps everything toghter when making the bed!Buy quality duvets ,they are truly worth the money

8. Puffer Scarves Are the Baby Duvets You Need Around Your Neck This Winter
With a delicate floral print and a soft grey-purple color palette, this is almost as refined as youWith a delicate floral print and a soft gray-purple color palette, this is almost as refined as your favorite silk scarf. It has a bit of a slimmer silhouette than the others on this list, making it also the easiest to wear.
9. How do you feel about comforter covers/duvets (like, from ikea). Do you like them? Do they work?
I would never buy a duvet from Ikea. Have you read all the questions about feathers coming out, and stitching coming undone? Buy the duvet from a good store, and make sure the thread count is at least 300. Go back to Ikea for the duvet covers. They are cheap, too, but much less costly to replace when they start to fall apart.
10. Every early winter I (27M non smoker, otherwise healthy) get a persistent, nonproductive cough with no other symptoms, and this cough lasts until late spring and gets progressively more irritating. What could it be?
I'm not a medical professional, but I do have asthma. I would recommend that you see a doctor to find out if you have a lung condition which is being aggravated when you are in an enclosed, heated environment. It might be a good idea to change the filters on your house furnace. You might want to have your house thoroughly cleaned and wash all of your bed linens. You should have your air ducts and vents cleaned as well. House ducts and air vents build up a surprising amount of dust and gunk over the years because they almost never get cleaned. Uncleaned air ducts can be a fire hazard. Get a full mattress cover (if you don't have one already), and get rid of any feather pillows or down comforters or duvets. If you've had your mattress for over 10 years, and your pillows for more than a year, consider buying new ones. Just some suggestions to consider. Good luck.
