Why? Because it is not free in most of the apps? Hard to work with? Complicated?
Android is much better. Free apps, good appearance, updatable, and there are many applications you use for PC, available for Android : Photoshop, Antiviruses like AVG, Nod32,themes like Windows 7(Changes appearance, makes it just like Windows 7), all and all for android. But Apple's app are made of Apple's Macintosh OS(That people use it less than Windows).
Still, do you think apple's better?

apple 4 a teacher?
In the United States, Denmark and Sweden, an apple (polished) is a traditional gift for a teacher. This stemmed from the fact that teachers during the 16th to 18th centuries were poorly paid, so parents would compensate the teacher by providing food. As apples were a very common crop, teachers would often be given baskets of apples by students. As wages increased, the quantity of apples was toned down to a single fruit.
Also: A is for apple
Also: Apple "A"
students may give an apple to show the teacher that the wish to acheive an "A"

what's the difference between apple cider and apple cider vinegar?Apple cider is the pressed unstrained juice of fresh apples. There is a "hard" cider version that is allowed to ferment & turned into an alcoholic drink. Cider vinegar is also a fermented product, but rather than alcohol the end result is acid, so cider vinegar is sour like any other vinegar.
You can buy apple cider in most supermarkets in the US at this time of year - produce department. Otherwise, substitute apple juice. Hard cider and cider vinegar do not usually work well as substitutes when a recipe calls for just "cider."

POLL: What is your favorite thing about apples?Oh gosh, he were go:
1. They are incredibly healthy. For one they are an excellent source of Vitamin C and fiber. They're also a great source of water, as apples are about 80-90% water.
2. Despite being healthy they don't taste like health food at all. They have a light, slightly sour (particularly Granny Smith) and slightly sweet taste that is very refreshing.
3. All of the colors they come in! Red, green, orange, spotted, striped. The options are truly endless.
4. They have so much purpose in the kitchen! Apple pies, apple cobblers, apple juice, apple tarts, apple sauce, apple smoothies, apple cider... again, nearly endless possibilities.

How to prepare baked apples?Baked Apples
Core the apple, place a little pat of butter in the center, some cinnamon and brown sugar (I like pecans too), pop it into the oven at 350' till soft (Time depends on if it's a hard apple, or soft, and how big the apple is)
Apple Blossoms - which are covered in pastery dough
Peel and Core the apple, add butter, cinnamon, brown sugar and pecans, wrap in dough. make a few slits in the dough so the steam can escape. Once again bake at 350' till brown and apple is soft (again, time depends on the apple)
Serve both with good vanilla bean ice cream.

Are apple fritters good?Apple fritters are delicious but pretty bad for you! Lots of sugar, 'bad' carbs, and oil. I don't know if you know how they are made, but it's basically apple slices dipped in batter, deep-fried, and then rolled in sugar and cinnamon.
I can't really compare apple fritters and pizza--one is a snack and the other one is part of a meal--but at least I can make pizza at home and make it healthy. I don't think I can make a decent and healthy home version of apple fritters.

Can I eat two apples every day, or is that too Much? They can, along with proper diet and exercise. Start running 4 days of the week (30 min for intense and 60 for light), eat only 1800 cal a day. Do some push ups, sit ups, and curls (find out what you can do at max, then cut that to about half, then do them until fatigue 3 times). No take out or fatty foods. Eat as close to throughout the day as you can. That should help you shed a bit of weight by the wedding day. Then keep it up for staying healthy- you don't want to relive this again, and it is harder the worse off you let yourself get.

are apples good for you?they are very good for you. They have tons of vit c, fibre, pectin, and this stuff called B-2 procyanidin, which makes your hair very shiny, and skin less rough.
They have antioxidants too, but most junk food companies claim that now- even chocolates, so ignore that part ( except in this case it is the truth). The pectin is the thing that makes apples special- it stops cholesterol messing up your arteries.
I wish I could eat apples a lot more actually. Two years ago I ate about 5 lbs a day in the form of apple sauce, home made, but they're just too acidy for my stomach, but if you don't have that, go for it.
It's not really possible to overdo it, unless you're eating 15 lbs a day, or something.

So i love apples and as i was having no life and looking up things about apples i came acros "cooked apple"?Am wondering which country you live in cos in the UK and the States apples belong in apple pie.
your first response here is right even if his terminology is off-key. There is a variety of sour apple in the UK called a Bramley that is specifically for cooking. It is a bit like a Granny Smith but sourer, and is beloved of thrifty mums cos the core is tiny. However when you cook with it, though it has a wonderful appley flavour, you need to add an awful lot of sugar. I prefer to cook with good quality eating apples, esp Pink Lady, because you don't need to add sugar. Here are some apple dishes you could try:
Eve's pudding
Apple crumble see bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/applecrumble_2971.shtml
Apple Charlotte
Baked apple
Apple dumpling

How was Apple named Apple?Steve Jobs came up with the name in early 1976. At the time, he was often visiting and working on a small farm friends of his owned. It was a hippie commune where Steve spent a few months of the year.
When he returned from one of those stays, he told Steve Wozniak about his idea. Jobs probably was working on apple plantages. Or he just wanted their startup to be in front of Atari in the phone book. Or it was a tribute to Apple Records, the music label of the Beatles.
Whatever the true origin of the name was, Woz knew instantly that they were going to be in trouble with Apple Records sooner or later. But as they were unable find a name that sounded better than Apple Computer, the name was chosen.
