I have big bins, baskets, buckets, you name it. None of it is better, it all just gets thrown in there
1. Is It OK to break My Kids Toys?
hell yea, you need to show them who is boss or they will walk all over you when they are older
2. When you have a yard sale and sell some of your kids toys and clothes what do you do with?
My kids are 17 and up. They helped with the garage sale as well. So.... I used the time and money for them to learn the value of a buck. I let them know it was for them and they could save it or blow it. It was more of a convo then I will place here. But you get the idea. Only one of them saved there money. The other two bought candy and game stuff. Now that there more grown...you know what, the child who saved is 21 now and has over 2,000 in the bank saved. The other two have maybe 15 bucks in there. I guess they never learned. Grrrr.
3. What if you found out someone was giving your kids toys from the dump?
My house is overflowing with firkin' stuffed animals. It's like the Serengeti. HOW MANY STUFFED ANIMALS DOES ONE CHILD NEED??!?!!!
4. Help with kids toys and clothing?
toys r us , target , wal mart ask them what they like
5. How to change batteries in kids toys without screwdriver on airplane?
I agree with Eric!!
6. Where can I sell my kids toys they have outgrown other than ebay and craigslist?
you should have a garage sale! best thought that came out of my head. lol
7. Moms, do you mind if other kids play with your kids' toys at the playground?
I would not mind. When I go to the park with my daughter I only take toys that are kind of generic. Not her favorite toys, that way if one gets broke or mysteriously disappears it's ok. I also do not mind if she plays with others toys, it's a public park if parents do not want others touching their kids toys then they should leave those toys at home. I think the park is a great place to teach little ones who are not in school yet how to share.
8. can you help me with some names of like old kids toys?
Every game you said then made me smile, I love them all. Hungry Hungry Hippo's. Twister. Connect Four. Operation. Guess Who. Monopoly. Scrabble. (last two not really kids as such) Magnadoodle is the board with the magnet and bar.
9. How often do you wash your kids toys?
If the rest of your house is pretty clean, there's really no need to clean their toys unless they spill something on them, drool on them, throw them in the mud, etc. :-) Keeping their environment too clean will actually cause them to be sick more often because their immune systems never get the chance to "toughen up".
10. Do you wash your kids toys?
No..I never washed toys unless they were dirty. I do not call another child playing them "dirty" though. That's a bit extreme. Bacteria is EVERYWHERE and most of it is harmless.
11. Should I sell and give away all my kids toys since they have no time to play with them anymore?
Kids need toys. Think of their imaginations, like little gears in their heads turning. Its like weight lifting for their muscles, but instead brain building. However, if they are say over 12 - ditch most of them.
12. Parents playing with kids toys?
My son has a full set of K'nex rollercoasters. I love to play with them. And his R/C trucks and race sets. I think a part of being a parent is allowing your inner child to play with your kids. It brings hours of enjoyment and lasting memories. If you want a pair of Hulk Smashing Gloves go buy a set and have fun!!
13. What is the best way to handle kids and toys?
I say if they can not share then no body can have it. You could try the rewards systems like stickers for each time they share with each other and then eventually they would get used to it so you do not have to anymore. I think all kids go through this stage you just have to always tell them to share and make sure they know its a good thing if they do.
