Pen and paper will do you a world of good, because you have to do a lot of work to take notes that way. You must pay keen attention to the lecturer and write down the key ideas, concepts, and statistics that matter. You will create kinesthetic memory as you write. The more senses involved in writing, the more you will remember. I recommend paper and a writing utensil over electronics every time.If you can write fluently in cursive, it will save you time and help you take more notes, faster. Which is a better choice for a university student to make notes, an iPad Pro or an iPad?
1. Is it hard to justify buying an iPad Pro when much cheaper tablets can perform 90% of the same tasks?
Sure. The iPad Pro isn't meant to be a value proposition in any sense.Apple priced it accordingly knowing it was literally the best tablet option on the market. For 90% of people, an iPad Air 2019 would fill all their needs for nearly half the price. Of course, there are those who will take advantage of its technical superiority to the fullest, but they're by no means the majority. Is it hard to justify buying an iPad Pro when much cheaper tablets can perform 90% of the same tasks?
2. Which would be the better deal, the iPad Pro or the Galaxy Tab S6? Why?
Both the iPad Pro and the Galaxy Tab S6 are the top tablets currently. An iPad Pro has iPad OS, specifically designed for iPads as an iPad is now increasingly being used by both professional customers as well as students as their main working device after a smartphone. The Computing and processing power of iPad Pro is relatively higher than that of Tab S6. But, the Tab S6 takes one step further for professional customers. It does not come with Stylus seperately as we see with Apple Pencil. The keyboard of Tab S6 makes the Tab to be used as a professional laptop using Samsung DeX. The keyboard has trackpad in it as the DeX has mouse support. Although iPad Pro has mouse support, the keyboard of iPad Pro does not have trackpad and its mouse support is not good as the Tab S6.Which would be the better deal, the iPad Pro or the Galaxy Tab S6? Why?.
3. Will an iPad Pro 9.7 inch get the update of iOS 11?
Thanks for A2A, Arnab.Yes, iPad Pro 9.7 inch does support iOS 11.ThanksSabya Majumdar
4. Why does one iPad Pro keyboard work without issue, but other works inconsistently at best?
like all electronics, there are fail rates. mostly small and obsolete, but every gizmo made has a % of failure rate, wether from assembly line workers taking off their gloves to scratch their nose, to who knows what!if you have two identical keyboards and one works flawless and the other is spotty, get rid of the spotty one!
5. Do iPad apps work on iPad PRO and vice-versa?
That depends on how the app was made.Apps are meant to define the position of interface components in terms of their distance from the edges of the screen by using a technology called AutoLayout (included in Xcode, the development environment for Apple devices). If the app was made with AutoLayout then yes, it will scale. As for whether or not they will work, iPhone and iPod apps can already be used on iPad so there should be no reason for which iPad apps should not work on the Pro. However, when the interface contains a lot of stuff and the interface was designed for a bigger screen, the components could get squashed together. If particular technologies are required (e.g. Apple Pencil) they wo not work on the regular iPads.
6. When is Apple going to release the iPad Pro 3?
One can only speculate, but given that Apple has released one every year for years, and its the latest its been in recent years, but it has been October for an iPad to release, probably October. The only iPad and Mac this year released this year so far are the MacBook Pro and basic iPad, so its safe to assume the remaining ones will be coming later this year. When is Apple going to release the iPad Pro 3?.
