I do not usually watch the View. I do not think that's true of Sherri. The few times I've seen it -she seems to point out issues with both Dems and Repubs. Joy Behar is the one who seemed to be over the edge with Hasselbeck (sp?). They got into it when I saw it a couple of weeks ago
1. Did anyone see the Boston celtics vs. Orlando Magic game today on ABC TV?
It was a great game, Orlando the first team to hand Boston 2 loses
2. When do children usually know their ABC's?
thats very good for a 15 month old. My son knew his at about 18 months and could recite them easily...however now he is four and doesnt always/or wont recite them because he has other (more important) things to do...like be a boy and get dirty, crash things etc etc haha.
3. ABC's of American History words?
The only letter others have not yet given you is U. Here's a good one for that letter: UNDERGROUND RAILROAD The Underground Railroad, a vast network of people who helped fugitive slaves escape to the North and to Canada, was not run by any single organization or person. Rather, it consisted of many individuals -- many whites but predominently black -- who knew only of the local efforts to aid fugitives and not of the overall operation. Still, it effectively moved hundreds of slaves northward each year -- according to one estimate, the South lost 100,000 slaves between 1810 and 1850.
4. If Shinichi Mochizuki has really created an extension of arithmetic geometry that proves the ABC conjecture, what will that mean for number theory?
You should review, Proof claimed for deep connection between primes, for a good picture. In short, the techniques used to form the proof could be used to advance further discoveries in number theory. However, the more I read on the subject, the more skeptical I am that the proof could be validated. It would appear that Dr. Mochizuki is too idiosyncratic and obscure in explaining the proof, which would appear to be a method for obscuring a bluff? At the very least, you would want to make your work accessible to fellow experts in your field, so as to allow for a more useful body of work (not to mention validation)
5. What age should my child know the ABC's?
I think your daughter is perfectly normal. You will see as she gets older that there is a huge difference between 17 months and 2yrs. If you are really concerned you can start working with her on the alphabet (singing and pointing out the letters). Recognizing and reciting all of the letters of the alphabet are two totally different things. Just because he can memorize the song does not mean he can point out the letters individually or say what phonetic sound they make. I am sure when you take your daughter for her next check up you will see she is right on target.
6. ABC Nightline last night with the infowars conspiracy guy!?
He IS a conspiracy theory loony ... he made himself look 'bad' ... !
7. Might go on the ABC diet?
Why are you going to follow a diet that will obviously lead you down the path to anorexia? Try eating a low-fat raw vegan diet instead. Or even just a low-fat (cooked) vegan diet. It will be so much better for you in the long run. Trust me, you do not want to go through anorexia. It's not pretty.
8. In triangle ABC, D and E are points on BC such that BD=CE. If angle ADE=angleAED, then how do you prove that triangle ABC is an isosceles triangle?
Okay so, I am doing this form memory (I am 48 so it has been 32 years) but i remember a few things.First and isosceles triangle has two sides that are equal.n geometry, an isosceles triangle is a triangle that has two sides of equal lengthThere is a theorem that says such:If two sides of a triangle are congruent, then angles opposite those sides are congruent. You use this theorem and the measurements (or the given information to show that because the two angels are congruent the sides are congruent
