It is probably due to some previous experience she had that scared her. It is a really good sign that she wants to cuddle with you at night. You are obviously doing some things right. You could try to coax her out during other hours with treats and toys. Hopefully she will learn that she is in a safe environment and will come out more.
1. Traveling overseas with a baby?
Why not just feed her straight on your breast, I would suggest bringing only a manual pump because it could be awkward hearing the noises a electronic pump makes... Also I say bring toys and maybe a portable dvd player/laptop so he can watch shows. Also make sure he's vaccinated up to date because other countries carry disease. Good luck and have fun!.
2. My Parrot and her perch?
Have you thought about using natural wooden perches, instead? These are definately my preferred perches- and they are free! As long as you dont use any woods that are toxic to your bird (I think some fruit trees, pines, etc- are- but I am not an expert on this) It should be fine- and much safer than resulting to cement perches that can cause your bird harm. I do not like the store brought perches at all- including those doweling ones that your bird is eating through. In nature- your parrot would be sitting on a variety of different textured and sized perches, and not the same one all of the time. These doweling perches can damage your bird's feet. The sandpaper covers are a waste of money and can cause your bird harm- especially if he eats it. The coloured mineral perches tend to dye white birds- so I hate to think of what they contain and the possible health hazards they might cause. I think that its great that your parrot is chewing- it keeps the beak in great condition and your pet entertained. There are a heap of toys out there that encourage foraging and chewing- these might be the right ones to select for your Senegal. Good luck!
3. How can I get my dog to like going in the pool?
Try sitting on the first step with your dog until it is comfortable...this process is all about baby steps...then move to the second step and so on...toys will help but you need to make it enjoyable for the animal
4. How can I get my puppy to stop biting so much?!?
You have to understand that she is a puppy that is teething...it is a very painful and often irritating process for them. The chew toys might be too big for your puppy, try something smaller if it is. The puppy also maybe biting because she is getting excited, are you playing with her while she is going on these biting sprees? Try to give her ice to play with, when my dog was a puppy it kept her busy and it allowed her to crunch down on something. If none of this works, the best thing is a water spray bottle. When she bites you squirt her directly in the face and say "NO!" firmly. It may take more than a few squirts to get her to stop, but if she has any sense, then she will eventually get the clue. Hope this helps
5. what are these toys called?
I do not remember, but as far as your English goes, it's your keyboard, not you...(:>)
6. Is it normal that my dog destroy his toys?
is he fixated on his toy? Like are they toys that skeak? and he just wo not let it go? if that's so he's not playing he's killing it.you should start training him to stop right away.if he's simply destroying everything then he's bored take him for longer walks or walk him more often.
7. TOYS TOYS TOYS and more TOYS!!!!!?
1. A tennis ball attached to a rope 2. I rotate them around so they think they are getting a new one every time. 3. They both love tug toys like big twisted ropes and Kongs. 4. Dice is not too fussed on ball. Domino likes them all! 5. Ummm the more durable ones like Kongs last ages. Stuffed ones, about half an hour before the poor thing is turned inside out. 6. I think it was $20 each for their Kongs 7. No I do not think I have, but I would love to see them with a sprinkler. Water restrictions here do not allow them :o(. 8. Empty plastic bottles are always a favourite around here.
