Why Is Int Main() Printf ("Hello World"); While(1); Not Printing, and What Is Expected?

Okay, the given code is,//Example 1int main()tprintf("Hello World");twhile(1); I guess, you expected that the output will be Hello World and infinity loop. But, the actual output is only infinity loop, no Hello World will be printed.//Example 2int main()tprintf("Hello Worldn");twhile(1); Now for example 2, the output will be Hello World and infinity loop.

So, n plays an important role here. Okay, lets analyze that. When a process is created, by default three buffers are attached to it,stdin (scanf() u2190 stdin u2190 keyboard)stdout (printf() u2192 stdout u2192 screen)stderr (perror(), dlerror() u2192 stderr u2192 screen)Here, from the program, Hello World is loaded into stdout buffer and it is flushed out to screen only when any of the below conditions are met,When there is a new line u2018nu2019,When the buffer is full,When the program terminates normally without using abort() or _Exit(), andWhen fflush() is used.

In example 1, none of the above conditions are met, i.e. no n, buffer is not full, because of while(1); program wonu2019t be terminated, and also fflush() isnu2019t used, so no Hello World will be printed but the string will be in stdout buffer.

In example 2, 1st condition is met, so Hello World is flushed out from buffer and printed. Why int main() printf ("Hello World"); while(1); is not printing what is expected?

How do I compile and run C programs in the command line using notepad in Windows?

To learn any programming language ,it is better to start with notepad instead of using any IDE to write and execute programs. You can use TDM-GCC MinGW compiler.

to download it use the link below:TDM-GCC MinGW Compiler1.Now how to install TDM-GCC MinGW:-after download is completed double click on it to run and install it. choose the directory where you want to install it(most chooses default that is displayed).

now goto the drive or directory where you installed it and look for bin folder and copy the path. in my case it isC:TDM-GCC-64bin2.Setting of environment variables:-goto view advanced system settings in control panelon bottom there is an option environment variables, just click on it and a new screen will be displayed which is being divided in to two parts.

instead of using System variables choose the upper one.click on new and write variable name like TDM_home or anything you want.variable value simply paste the path location which you copied earlier.

now click on OK Ok . its all Done. 3.

How to write , compile and run programopen notepad or notepad type program , simply save as name.c(.c is extension) and save the program.

open the folder where you save the program and on path location type cmd, a command promote window will be open:-To compile type gcc name of program.c and hit enter.to run program type any character (in mine case a)hit enter.

here you go u2026. good luck! How can I run a 'C' language program which has been written in notepad using cmd ?

Is it difficult to learn assembly language?

What makes assembly language a bit different is that how you reference registers and other components might slightly change with the chip set you are using. Furthermore, since it is more line by line, the code can get long and complicated.

But you have more control over it, and it really is almost at the machine level. It is just a matter of practice and getting to know on a digital signal level, how the components you are interfacing with operate. But learning the basics of any language isnt hard.

It is when the complexity of the program increases that things get complicated. It is like writing a page vs a book. Now find a spelling mistake that occurred in the book that causes an entire chapter to not make sense.

That is coding. Often times, management and even coders will over-complicate a requirement in order to overcompensate. This can make the logic behind a project frustratingly confusing as they compete for their ideas to be implemented.

With assembly you have to find out how everyone else work, works and interface with it. Thus, due to this, and any other language, you have to continuously learn with coding, and if they made a bug in their API, you gotta debug it and isolate the source. So with higher level languages, you dont have to worry about the different chip setups and port locations, because drivers take care of that.

What is the meaning of sound of silence in the English literature?

The use of the phrase "sound of silence" seems like an oxymoron. How can silence have a specific sound if silence is supposed to be the absence of sound?

The actual dictionary definition of "silence" is "complete absence of sound".Yet in English literature, the "sound of silence" provides readers with an abstract illustration of the scene's atmosphere becoming heavy with emotion or understanding between characters. Another comparative phrase would be " the silence was/is deafening", which implies the very observable and relatable experience of being in complete silence, yet feeling the weight of realization or emotionsu2014 oftentimes in the midst of an argument or once a strong point has been made between debaters.

This again is simply an abstract illustration of tones and characteristics within a scene in which dialogue has ceased, yet the story has progressed. It progresses even in the silence.Another analysis of silence having a sound or volume can be observed when one experiences physical silence.

You cannot truly have absolute silence since there are sounds being made all around, even within your own body. Therefore, when outside sound waves are too low or high of a frequency to be heard, the sounds and movements of one's own body and bodily functions are amplified, I.e.

your heartbeat, ears ringing, blood circulation, etc. Even vibrations produced by the minuscule of movement technically produces a sound, regardless of whether it can be heard or not. In scenes filled with suspense or action, writers utilize the oxymoron of "loud silence" to help further describe the character's momentary visual and hearing experiences.

Hope this helps.-A.A

Do native Jamaicans speak non-English languages?

u201cNative Jamaicansu201d donu2019t exist anymore because none of us in this island are originally from here. We came from at least six African tribes, China, India mostly from East India, Spain, Portugal, Britain, Ireland, Scotland. The Arawak or Taino Indians, who were the first Jamaicans , therefore natives, died out because of Spanish Colonial slavery and diseases introduced to them.

There are no native Jamaicans in existence now, the Arawaks named Jamaica u201cXaymacau201d meaning u201cland of wood and wateru201d and then the Spanish translated it to u201cJamaicau201d.Currently most Jamaicans, mostly descendants of Africans therefore black, make up 90% of the population and we speak a a mix of 6 African u201ctribal languagesu201d NOT DIALECTS, a few Spanish words and some English. This mix created the Jamaican Patois which was created by the black population and now is spoken by everybody and understood by everybody in Jamaica.

English is not our mother tongue, Patois is. English is the official language which we are taught in school. I can write English very well because I was taught in school and I speak English mostly when I meet foreigners.

I speak Patois almost 100% of the time. Some Jamaicans in the tourist industry can speak basic Spanish, French, German and some are learning to speak Mandarin. The non-English Languages are spoken only for the purposes of communicating with tourists whenever it is necessary in the tourist resorts around the island

What name is given to a person who believes that the existence of God can be neither proved or disproved?

The proper term describing such a person is an atheist. A u201ctheistu201d is a person who believes in the existence of a god who is both transcendentu2026. that is, that he (or He) is timeless, and incorporeal (existing beyond the physical world), and immanent, that is that he mingles in the physical world, communicates with his followers, enjoys watching football games on the weekends, has favorite teams whom he sometimes helps to win, occasionally diverts hurricanes from making landfall, and who likes the smell of roasting meat.

And many evangelical Christians feel sure Heu2019s a Republican. nThe prefix u201ca-u201c means non- or not. Thus, an atheist rejects the notion of such a god as u201cunprovedu201d, unless clear evidence were to be provided.

In the case of a transcendent god, such evidence would be impossible to provide and for an immanent god, the currently available evidence is purely circumstantial, or hearsay, in either case unacceptable in a court of law. nThe existence of God in either manifestation cannot be strictly disproved, and as such, resides in the same ontological domain as Russellu2019s Teapot, in outer space, somewhere between the orbits of Earth and Mars. (Russell would place the burden of proof on the person making the positive claim, not the negative claim.

nSome atheists go further and claim the the absence of evidence for God is in itself evidence of absence, but most reasonably minded atheists would disagree. Their enquiring minds remain open to the possibility of God, pending the provision of evidence. Matt Dillahunty is an atheist in this manner.

What is the difference between

In short, String S1 new String("Hello"); This statement creates a String object in the Heap Memory.String S1 "Hello"; This statement creates a String literal with value "Hello" in the String Pool. For more understanding, let's take 3 cases.

Case 1. String Object and LiteralString s1 "Hello"; String s2 new String("Hello");Since s1 and s2 are reference variables, they'd be pointing at their respective memory locations right ?s1 points to String Pool's location and s2 points to Heap Memory location.

Now testing if they're equal: if(s1 s2) would return false, as the reference variables are checked.Where as s2.equals(s1) will return true as equals function checks the individual characters in both the reference variables.

An Interesting Fact: "String Literal Pool" is a memory area that contains all the string literals used in the program. Whenever a new literal is encountered, the JRE checks if it exists in the String pool or not. It does not contain duplicate literals.

If you create two reference variables with same value "Hello", they'd both point to the same location.Case 2: Two String Literals:Eg: String s1 "Hello"; String s2 "Hello";if(s1s2) will be true.Case 3: One string object and anonymous literalString s1 new String("Hello");if(s1 "Hello") will be false.

In this case , "Hello" creates a literal in the pool which has a different memory location than S1's heap memory.Hope it helps.
