Put a little stuffed mouse or cat toy on the end of a stretchy string and attach the other end to a stick. My ferret would play with this for hours -- tackling it and kinda playing tug of war. Just get him moving. Playing with him is good, better then him sleeping. I think exorcize is a lot more important then food and stuff. He sounds like a lovely ferret :)

Brittany's are fantastic pets for ACTIVE people.

They are a very high energy breed, and also quite smart. They need training as well as lots of exersize. They're affectionate, fun and funny too.

I think the yard and the fact you have 2 active boys is nearly the ideal situation for a brittney. You will need a barrier of some sort.

The flaw in electric fencing is that some breeds (like Britneys) can ignore the flash of pain in pursuit of rabbits and cats. An outdoor kennel is a better idea when your gone.

Contact your local animal control or SPCA to find a breed rescue near you. (sorry, I live in California)

You have to remember child modeling agencies get thousands of pictures a year and there is a limited demand for child models.

Love your son for the beautiful child he is and let him be a child. If he wants to be a model when he is older you can help him pursue it further. Personally, I think toddlers shouldn't be put to work.

I have a VERY over-active puppy, and we don't know what to do with her! Help!?

Okay- how old is the dog? It needs more exercise by the sound of it- dogs have a hard time being hyper when they are tired.

My dog goes on bike rides with me, we also run a couple times a week now (several miles). He is a full year old though- you have to be careful with puppies- so ask your vet how much exercise he can get.

Take him to the dog park/your backyard and play fetch. If the parvo is 100% gone and you have vet's approval- let him chase other pups at the park.

Try spending more time exercising her- wear her out. If that doesn't work or you don't have the time to do that- then think about rehoming.

Does you 7 year old going on 8 tend to be afraid of things. Universal has a lot of intense rides. If he is not afraid of intense rides then go to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. You are the only one who understands his fear factor.

Disney is designed for people afraid of intense rides. You can skip those and still have fun. A 7 or 8 year old will have more fun at Magic Kingdom. When my oldest daughter was 8, she would ride anything but had a phobia to things with fire. She did not enjoy the backlot tour or the great movie ride. But I think Disney Hollywood Studios is better than Universal Studios. Just my personal opinion.

Taking a 15 month old to a "class" at the library...?

It's the toddlers who sit still through these things that are odd, trust me. I take my 18 month old to a similar program at our library, and she's everywhere. So long as she's not bothering anyone, making a mess, or making a break for the door, I let her play. She's having fun, and she's still listening to the songs and stories. She just wants to see the puppets and climb the stairs, too. :) Your kiddo is perfectly normal, and I'm sure she's not bothering anyone. (And if she is, it's those mothers who have a problem, not you.)

I have a springer and a westie. They love to eat meat and cheese, and fish. They have lots of toys, but I can't leave them out on the floor or they will fight over them. They only get to play with them with me, so I can monitor them. They follow me around the house all day, sleep by my chair, chase each other around, play outside, and jump on my husband cause he lets them. Their pet names are Chelsea and Cadence (katie). Chelsea was born march 1 2005, Cadence was born January 31 2007. I got Chelsea when she was 10 weeks, and Cadence at 8 weeks and 3 days old. Here are their pics.
